RE: Rear Kitchen Question

Love my rear kitchen. Husband created some wooden door "blocks" which fit between cabinet door handles to make sure they're closed tightly. Other than that, use common sense in loading cabinets. Cushion breakables. I do not leave my ceramic cannisters on countertop during travel. Pack them in a crate. My kitchen, with center island, is great. Countertop space is very handy.....In previous fiver's center kitchen, cabinet door opened and Corelleware dishes fell out; and yes, two broke.

RE: What you change on your FW to make it better

wcferb: Did you buy rollout shelving for pantry? If so, can you provide description, brand, where, etc? Or did you custom make? Interested in purchasing or making our own roll out shelving and would like your input. Thanks.

RE: Tailgater Sattelite System-Local Channels

HawkPat and Kiwi: We will be camping in a remote area of SE Oklahoma. We have never been able to receive tv signal in this area via our OTA antenna. (nor can other campers) Our Dish account address will be Tulsa, Oklahoma. However, we wish to access local-to-SE Oklahoma (probably Ft. Smith, AR) channels while in this campground. We will be subscribing to the "Pay as you Go" service. This will be our only Dish service.
Also, thanks Denny. We had read the Dish FAQ regarding the RV service line.
Thanks...........

RE: Tailgater Sattelite System-Local Channels

Thanks for info. I was readng the FAQ on the Dish Tailgater site, and read the local OTA information. I felt surely there was someway to obtain local network channels via the Tailgater, when out of our home site. I will obtain address of this campground and provide to Dish when we can are camping in this area. Thanks again.

Tailgater Sattelite System-Local Channels

We have purchased a Dish Tailgater and receiver. One of the areas we plan to spend time is located in a remote location of Oklahoma and local tv channels are not available over OTA antenna. We will not be camping in our subscribed Dish local area. However to access local coverage (where we are camping), Tailgater instructs us to use our OTA antenna, which we know cannot access local. Have any of you been able to access local coverage (for your area of camping)when you are not camping in your subscribed Dish area without using your rv's OTA? If so, how did you accomplish this?

Dish Tailgater and Receiver

I understand the Dish 211 receiver will not permit watching different channels simultaneously on two separate tv's, using the Tailgater antenna. Is there a receiver that works with the Tailgater that does permit viewing two different channels simultaneously? This may have been asked/answered before, but I did not find this particular item discussed when doing a search. Thanks for your help.

RE: bad odor persists

When propane tank fuel is low, the odor can be very strong inside rv. Check propane bottles/tank level. Worth a look/see.

RE: heading to Colorado,yeeeeaaaa!

Kenneth Wooster, we are headed to South Fork 8/23 for one month. Staying at River Bend. Hope the area is receiving some rain as it is extremely dry here in Oklahoma.

RE: Hard to get out of bed problem.

If there was a "like" button, I'd click it now for the suggestions about who makes the bed. Joint effort in our home on wheels and stick house. But before I get too clever, perhaps there is a reason Ed cannot make the bed as well....

RE: Second A/C on Fiver!

We have one A/C, mounted over living/kitchen area, with ducted heat/air. Normally works fine. However, with this extreme heat, the upper bedroom area is always much cooler than the more open living/kitchen area. Would a second a/c, which would be located over the bedroom in pre-wired area, assist with cooling the lower area?

RE: Quick help needed

As the wife of a fellow fiver owner, I have worried about a similar situation occurring. Tried to learn as much as I can about setting up and tearing down, but could not do it alone. It is heart-warming to see a true friend coming to the resuce. Great Job! Thanks from all of us wives....
