RE: Thinking of selling my coach...Am I stupid?

With the economy the way it is and the low ball prices people are wanting to pay for a coach, I'd keep the paid for coach and hit the road. You will be $$ ahead in the long run. 109K miles is nothing. I agree 100%. Me Too, Ronnie

RE: Ins. Recommendation based on full replacement exp.

Our RV insurance is with American Security. which we purchased through Gilbert Insurance Company out of Orlando Florida. We recently lost our 2003 LaPalma to a fire. Lucky for us we had full purchase price in our policy. We purchased it in 2005 so it was only two years old. At the time it did not seem significant, but we really came out on top when we settled with the insurance company. We were around 40k upside down at the time of the loss. After the insurance company paid off the RV we had around 13k in equity where we had been paying on the loan. If there is anyway you can get purchase price on your RV, I would strongly recommend it. We were not able to get purchase price coverage on our replacement RV because of its age(99). Hope this info helps, Good Luck, Ronnie (PS, Be sure and get enough personal property coverage to cover all your belongings, we did not and it cost us plenty)

RE: Buyer Beware- Water damaged MHs

We saw several Fleetwood motor homes at CW in Chattanooga, that were flooded, when we were we shopping for a mh. The price, at that time, was 25 cents on the dollar. Rebecca

RE: fun ideas for fundraising

How much time do you have for planning? A silent auction or a raffle are always good. If there are lot's of people, you could have a volleyball tournament.

RE: owner financing

We carry the note on a property, but did it long before we went ft. Our most recent home is now a rental.

Towing 99 Honda Accord

Does anyone know if I can tow a 99 Honda Accord v6 auto 4 down? I see where Roadmaster sells the brackets, but It does not say if it towable or not. I do not have the owners manual for reference. Thanks, Ronnie

RE: You ever stay in a Walmart parking lot?

Two suggestions: planning...reservations...works everytime! Where's the fun in that? Sometimes we don't even know where we're heading for until we get there. Having places we can pull into and park for the night without the hassles of finding and going to a campground is a nice convenience. Same here! I have tried planning, it NEVER works.

RE: You ever stay in a Walmart parking lot?

We absolutely love to stop at Wal-Mart, dh usually gathers the stray buggies and places them in the bins.

That is a great suggestion. It's mighty hot, in Georgia, in July.
