RE: Holiday Rambler not dead!

I am sure HR is making new coaches, it is just a shame that anything built before the bankrupt deal, there would be no warranty on existing coaches. We have had some issues with our coach and the HR help line says, that there is nothing that HR can do about it, whether it be structural or anything else. Makes you want to buy another HR for fear of something happening and no help from the factory.
Just what was told to me by the HR help line

RE: Tell me why we shouldn't...

We have, it seems, like we have always camped when the kids were little. We always had a great time, but sometimes we thought that the kids would not remember those times. Well they have grown and have familys, we now have grand kids, and our kids talk about our camping when they were little..So if you can afford a TT, and take those short trips etc. the kids will always remember the fun times..We take the grand kids with us on short trips, they also have a good time...don't waste time go for it....
Have fun

RE: RV Caravans - Any Bad Ones?

We went with Adventure Caravan, on our trip to Alaska. We had a great time and would go with Adventure again. There was, every night a drivers meeting on the next day drive, to let you know of what to expect, what to see, and what you did not really want to miss. We were gone 34 days on our adventure, and saw a lot of wonderful things. Yes, we would go with a caravan again, great people, friends and truly a adventure. We had Adventure Caravan and was a good choice for us. Happy camping

RE: Sway Control for 16' Enclosed Cargo Trailer

Always use a sway control on my trailer,16' Wells Cargo inclosed trailer, pulled with my P/U or my M/H. better safe than sorry, quick and easy to put on and not have to worry..

RE: My Rear End is Sagging To Much

I would also check your hitch height on the trailer, using a tape measure. Measure from the frame to ground both ahead of axles and behind, than when level measure from ground up into the hitch ball coupler. Besure to do the measureing on a lev18" tel roadway. Than check the hitch height on the truck, from ground to top of ball. If the trailer is lets say 18" your hitch ball should be 18or 19". Than I would, if it was me, make your hitch head stright up and down and not tilted toward the truck, I have always had our hitch heads stright up and even with a heavy trailer has worked. This is what I would do, after all the hitch should have a bit of spring action and not tight to the A frame of the trailer...IMHO
Good luck

RE: Dinghy Towing 2008 Silverado 4WD

On our 4 wheel drive GMC p/u we tow with the transmisson in neutral, pull the #1 fuse, put the shifter in park, turn the key off and remove the keys, lock the doors, turn the mirrors in and go. If you watch the truck when you turn left or right in the mirrors you will see the wheels turn l&R, our truck is a 2002 and we go by the manual, we also, b-4 we towed, checked with GMC and got a print out on our truck with this info, the same as the manual was written..
Good luck

Batteries

Three weeks ago I started the M/H to let it warm up and ran the generator..Today went out to start the M/H and batteries were so low the m/h would not start. We keep it plugged into electric so the onboard charger would work..something sure discharged the batt's. Now I did check the batt's for h2o and they were ok, before I started the m/h 3 weeks ago..any thought's on what made this happen???I'm at a loss, never had this happen before, also no interior lights were on,altho with hooked up to el. this should not have mattered.
The batt's are just over a year old, Interstate. This is a 07 Holiday Rambler Neptune with a 325 Cummins...
Thanks
