RE: Awning Dead- Anyone know what this is (photo)
Please check that the ignition switch is in the OFF position and not ON or in ACC position. Any position except OFF would activate the relay and stop the awning from operating properly. Also, do you have any electric window awnings and are they working?

RE: Anyone tow a 6000 pound dingy?
I flat tow a 1996 Chevy Suburban 1500 2WD that has a Remco disconnect. It weighs about the same as your Avalanche. Been doing it for the past 8 years and I have never had a problem pulling or stopping this setup. I have a 2005 Holiday Rambler Endeavor with the 400hp Cummins that pulls it nicely on cruise at 68mph (or faster if I need too). I average around 7mpg with or without the truck attached.

Dixie RV Service Center in Hammond, LA is horrible. Sales department is ok, but not service department. I would check with Briggs or Reed over at The RV Shop in Baton Rouge or Robert over at RV Customs in French Settlement. Both places do really good work at a fair price.

RE: Looking for Bath & 1/2
Our 2005 Holiday Rambler Endeavor DST is 40 feet long and has the bath and a half floorplan. It has a full rear bath with the tub/shower combo. Wife and kids love the floorplan. I love the 400hp cummins.

I would still have the ATS (automatic transfer switch) checked out to make sure it's not sticking during the swap. I would also check out the breaker on the generator, it may be getting weak.

Love the bath & 1/2. Yes it was worth it. Next coach will have the same set up. Bought it new back in 2005 because we could not find a used one. It's a 2005 Holiday Rambler Endeavor DST 40 feet long with a 400 Cummins. We do a lot of tailgating at football games and attend drag races so all the guests get to use the 1/2 bath.
