RE: dry camping

It would depend if your converter is a three stage or a trickle charger. My old fifth wheel had a 2amp trickle charger and would take for ever to charge the batteries so I ran my sears charger straight off the generator. My new 5er has the three stage charger and works great with the trailer plugged into the generator. Figure out what kind you have and go from there.

RE: HELP! Need help with class III hitch

They make an adjustable width hitch for motor homes. I am thinking about doing the same thing. Google adjustable motor home hitches.

RE: Replacing exterior slide out gasket/seal on Carriage Cameo

My exterior gaskets were gettting worn and I was at the Grand national and the local dealer was installing a row of double gasket material for free until he ran out. So I had to order my own and install it. It was pretty easy. Clean the area and install with double sided tape. I think I ordered my at PPM. There are several online companys that sell seals. Just match the shape and order what you need. I believe mine was the "D" shaped seal. It has worked well.

RE: ? G614 Tires

Just bought four of them and installed them tonight. Won't know how they ride until our trip over New Year's. I have heard that they will make the rig a bit more rigid while towing. Everyone says that they are great. Expensive though.

RE: Adding a 2 inch receiver to back of trailer

Try the Hidden Hitch #802201 at ETrailer. It's a bolt on unit that is adjustable. They offer free shipping. This will be my next purchase.

RE: New Morryde pin box

Installed the same pin box last November by myself. It took about the same time. One mistake I did make was to measure the height before I removed the old pin box. I installed the new moryde to low so I had to remove and raise another set of holes higher. It was the best upgrade I have done so far.
