RE: From the website for TN State Parks

As someone said earlier people with jobs and kids who do last minute trips are getting the short end of the stick. We are weekend warriors who talk about it on Monday and Tuesday, weather looking good come Thursday decide to go. I take half day vacation go to park get site wife and kids come after school. The only ones who gain from this are people who are planning a vacation around camping and retired people who can schedule that far ahead. I dont see any penelaty for canceling so most parks will be booked full on weekends for the year but empty spots from last minute cancelations. So the weekend warrior will lose out. Our local park is implentanting it. The artical has quotes saying "people travel only to find their preferred site taken or the campground is full", I don't understand who this is helping as the park gets the user fee either way. What it boils down to is the fact that state parks are cheaper than private camp grounds so there are a certain crowd that wants the best of both worlds.

RE: Ohio trip again and water heater

If it is like mine you will need to drain it as the element is at the bottom. As far as unpluging I will unplug mine that way I know I can't shocked.

Ohio trip again and water heater

Posted about this time last year. Just got back from ohio deer hunting trip. Took the camper up end of Oct and bow hunted 5 days passed on several small deer and got to see a heavy 7 point. KZ worked great. Quick drain of system and some pink stuff and left. Went back black friday for 2 days bow hunt then gun hunt on Monday-Wed. Once again camper worked great. Got a small buck so I now have meat for the freezer. When I left everything working as should. 300 miles later go to plug in GFI in basement and it trips. spent couple hrs yesterday to find element in water heater is bad. Unhooked power to element no more problems. Problem with element is gas piping for WH prevents removal with my element wrench. Do dealerships have a speacial tool for this or do they disassemable the gas pipes. I may just cap and secure wires and go with gas only. Any suggestions.

RE: 2013 Pioneer BH25 for Elk Hunt

Take mine to Ohio every year for deer. If your in the camper with heat on inside is fine. If the camper is in sunshine and no wind the lightly insulted walls will allow it to become quite warm during the day. Have come out for lunch before with high of 35 bright sunny and the camper was easly 65 with thermastate set on 50. Strong winds and/or shade all bets off. Exposed Things will freeze fast.

RE: DIY Outdoor Entertainment Center ???

Lots of funny reading on this one. I love this time of yr. Take my 17" lcd outside hook to coaxe plug in outside kitchen Sat around noon and watch football most of day. If UT is on network usally wind up with some neighbors watching with me. sometimes our DD and her friend wind up makeing new freinds. Night time I make icecream and offer neighbors some. OP many ways of doing it most like me just set tv on table and plug and watch. Yes quite time is observed and always keep it low.
