RE: What is the most stressful part of driving your coach?

For us it is some one stopping, or cutting in front of us! Merging does not really bother me. Turn signals and cameras, and we are bigger!!!! Try to stay on the back roads. 60 MPH max. 40' Winnie Journey and Honda CRV.

RE: Screw Hole Too Big

If wood, a common fix (assuming just wallowed out, not rotted out)is to insert a couple of wood matches (sans head) into the hole. Be sure to put some sealer on the screw threads before threading it in. I've also used toothpicks in the same manner. My dad taught me that! Xx2 on the toothpick and gorilla glue. Wooden matches not too common any more.

RE: Hard time buying

Hi all...i am having a heck of a time buying a 3500HD. Here's the deal...we want a 2015 gmc denali 3500 but they are scarce and nobody wants to deal. Forget getting a firm price on ordering a non inventory unit. So, 2500HDs r numerous and i am told the only difference in getting the increased payload of the 3500 is an additional leaf spring. Can i make a 2500 into a 3500? Any observations on my not being able to negotiate on existing 3500 denalis? Thx...bo Have you tried Tx. DFW. area. Classic CHEV. One of the largest in the Us.

RE: Sewer smell when using exhaust fans

When we use the vent fan, we crack open a window. My theory is so it doesn't create a vacume effect.

RE: Do you turn off your engine at the gas station?

While traveling, I start the MH. in the mornining and shut it off when I reach my destination. IMHO Fuel is still cheaper than starters and batteries.

RE: How you heatin?

We are fortunate, elec is included in the monthly fee. Have the fireplace,(would not be with out one) , and two 750/1500 watt oscaliting heaters. Usually run on the low side. They do well Dow to the middle 20's .the gas will kick on in the night form time to time. The elec. Heaters were about $30.00 each at Home Depot.
