RE: Handheld Remote control for awning, rear jacks.slides,etc.?

Had a 2011 ,39' cardinal. Had to stand in just the"right spot" to get the remote to work.
Never used it.don't worry about getting the remote.

RE: Would you recommend a 5th wheel for me?

I agree withe donno . A small "c" with a toad would work better for a single
Female. Even a 30' cotter would be good. As far as backing up, camp hosts
At most camp grounds will be glad to help. If not find someplace else!
IMO.

RE: Fifth wheel investment

IMO. THE DUTCHMAN , PROWER,and WILDCAT ARE entry level. Great fo weekends, and week long vacations . If you are looking at a more permanent
Living I would look at the Montana,Bighorn, pinnacle level. For the ful timing
mobile Suites, Hitchhiker and Excel line . And of course the New Horzons.
All depends on your hip pocket !

RE: Pin box bolts not secure.

Good you caught It. On our 2012 HH.CE. the recommendations on the wheels were
Relighting at 50,250, 1000, and every 500 up to 2500 mi.
Always ck the pin box at the same time.

RE: snowbirding

Spent the last two winters on S.Padre IS. TX. (KOA.)
Windy at times, yes.but warm days, most of the time. $800.00 / mo.
Including Elec. Jan.Feb.March. Not much traffic except for the week of spring break.
Lots of WINTER TEXANS ,bargains.
Too much sand and rocks in Arizona/new Mexico.
So they say , Pricy and crowded in Florida. IMO.

RE: Newbies Going Full Time

We have had both,class A MH 38' , then to a 40' fiver, now in a 37' HH. CE.
fiver. With a 2011 3500 DRW CHEV. Duramax. The truck drives better. More relaxing.
Also only one vehicle to maintain. MPG is insignificant . Living In the fiver has more room. Takes more time to set up with the fiver. Storage is about the same.
If you have never had a R V. it will take a few to get it right. (I.M.O.)
We have been FULLTIMING for two years. No house!
No end in sight!

RE: plastic leveling blocks - What Do You Think?

We have both. Both work well in certain circumstances.
Use them together.. Mostly on the jacks, so we don't have to extend them so far.

RE: With or without oven

Of the three RV'S one had a over two haven't.You just adjust.
We have liked the extra storage that you get with out a oven.
The Convection/Microwave combo works just fine. Just another process!

Wineguard Cary out.

We have the Wineguard carry out mounted on the roof at the back of our 2012
HH.CE. At a lot of camp grounds the back is blocked by trees. Also we have a 2nd one
that we had from a previous fiver. Was thinking about mounting the 2nd one temporarily
on the roof at the front. The MFG. says to mount on the front part of the roof the front
cap would have to be removed BLA.BLA. and so on! Is there any way to "RIG"
another bracket up front without drilling holes. Just with some , for lack of a better
word "GLUE/COMPOSITE "? Running cables down the roof withe the same stuff that is used for sealing around the antenna and vents. Is this possible, or just a
pipe dream of mine.trying to do this for convenience.
THANKYOU for any and all comments.
