RE: I think I have the trailer ready for Michigan race weekend

Yes you can leave and come back, just can't bring anymore beer back in with you. We just make sure we bring enough in the camper. A couple gallon jugs of homemade hard cider to sip on helps the beer last longer, hehe. Don't want to leave until Monday anyway, might miss something. There is more to watch than just the racing. It's like Las Vegas, what happens in the infield stays in the infield, hehe. The only regret is the 10 hr drive home on Monday. Have fun, Rick

RE: I think I have the trailer ready for Michigan race weekend

We camp at turn two in the infield not far from the jumbotron. When you come into the infield the first day you can bring all the beer you want, but you can't go back out and bring in some more. So you have to make sure you bring enough the first day to last the whole weekend. This is our 4th year we have a great time.

RE: Front Hitch Receiver for F-250

You might want to check in the truck camper thread, most of those guys have front hitches and I'm sure someone there could help you. Hope this helps, Rick

RE: Snowing in Georgia

Unfortunetly we have another month of winter to go here. I used to love this job 25 years ago, now it's getting old. I hope to retire soon so I can go to places like Georgia where the snow don't stick much, hehe. http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii16/jayflight69/2004_0205Winter20040034.jpg http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii16/jayflight69/midsize_photo45f5b70d84b7b614194925.jpg http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii16/jayflight69/midsize_photo45f5b70d57e6c758552083.jpg

RE: Chip for 7.3 Ford diesel ??????

Go to dieselstop.com forum, those guys have a ton of info. (Warning it can get as addictive as RV.net). I only have a 40 HP tune and pulling 10,000# around just the moderate hills here can raise the EGT's very high even with a 4" exhaust. The guages and a pillar pod was less than $300 for good ones and they are fairly simple to install. You will really like the power and the throttle response is so much better. Hope this helps, Rick

RE: Flags up while camping????

US Fag and USMC Flag on lighted pole at home. US, USMC, NYS, Canadian, and #99 on solar lighted poles for camping. Been flying the US and USMC flags since I was Corp 25 years ago. Most of DW's family is Canadian and when they come here or we go there we always fly the Canadian Flag out of respect for them.

RE: ENOUGH Winter Already!!!

Makes you want to hit Al Gore right between the eyes with a snowball. We had a global warming heat wave of 37F yesterday, today back to a high of 15F. Almost 200 inches of snow already and two more months of winter left. Makes us appreciate summer that much more I think.
