Hill Climbing

Just want to run this by some of you, at the present time when I climb a (Hill or Mountain) I let the Allison do the changing or down shift as needed, if it don't down shift at 1400 RPM I will down shift it my self, I haven't had a problem with over heating, just wanted to know if what I am doing is the proper way to handle the Mountain Climbs. A little late to ask since I have been doing it this way for 15 years. It is a 330 ISC 950 Torque at 1400 RPM. Thanks Roy

A/C on 30 AMP Service

I have never tried the A/C on 30 AMP service. I will be in a camp ground in June with just 30 AMP. Can I run just one, I know I will need to cut back on other services, looking for recommendation from some one who has experience this. Thanks Roy

RE: Emerald Isle suggestions and routing

I can't really believe some of you people are running the crystal coast down. Goose Creek Camp ground is fine, if you have kids they have a water slide or they used to don't know if they still do or not. All the other camp grounds mentioned are just fine they are not for kids nothing to do, but for a place to stay and visit the area they are fine, and clean. Roy

RE: ABS Light

Well I have found it is very easy to lockup your brake if you just need to stop in time for a red light, if it catches you off guard. I don't like the thought putting out 3 or 4 hundred dollars for a tire. Also I am thinking about selling so I don't think it would sale with the ABS light on. Roy

RE: ABS Light

What made my hot they had 5 Tech in that shop, I bet between the five if you would add there hrs together that would not total 21/2 hrs each working time.

ABS Light

Tis a little information if you have a problem with your ABS light not going off. The code did not pin point this problem, This was found with a Monaco tech helping the tech on the MH, all sensors worked, the fault code that read out was not the problem. There is a ABS Blink light circuit Board in the compartment under the driver that was the problem, so if you have a problem and can't find it check this Circuit Board, the Monaco tech found it not the tech on the MH. Now listen to this. $855.54 and not a part used, I need to order the part. Just labor. What can you say. A couple Cool one will make me forget it until next time. This was a Intermittent problem its working now but for how long, then I will pay for a circuit board and labor again. Roy

RE: Water leak

That is where the leak is, I ran a tube down the drain to make sure the drain was not stopped up, there is a drain there for when the rain comes in through the lovers, I have also covered the lovers with plastic so no water can get in. This is the first day that I have been able to get the spot completely dry. Question The Humidity has been bad this winter under the MH, it is parked on a cement pad, this is the first time I have noticed it, it would be wet under the MH when it had not rained, was wondering if the Humidity would have anything to do with it, the protection back there is not like the rest of the MH, like I said this is the first day I have been able to get it dry, no wetness under the MH today. Sorry about the long post. Roy

RE: CW Malfunctions

I don't have any service done at Camping World, but I do buy there products. I don't understand why with all the complaints on this forum about Camping World Service, why they are still in business, they must be doing something right, unless a lot of these complaints are bogus. Not saying the Operator post is Bogus. Roy

RE: Water leak

The water tank is forward of the leak, in the compartment with the water pump. But the unit is winterized no water in the tank or any where else, I don't see where any water lines would run in this area, I called a dealer in Wilmington NC this morning that have a pressurized system to check for leaks, $115.00 not bad, but I am sure by the time they get through it will be more about 2 hr drive from here. Thanks to all Roy

RE: Water leak

I don't know where any water would be it has been winterized, and it is not close to the outside shower, I just can't understand why I can't get it dry I leave a fan on it all day and used a hair dryer. Roy

Water leak

This a shot in the dark. Someone would need to have a MH like mine to be able to know what I am taking about. I have a leak in the back bed room under the bottom drawer next to the closet. If you are standing at the foot of the bed it is on the left side up next to the head of the bed under the bottom drawer. I have done every thing I know to do caulked the top and every place I know to caulk. Are they any thing under the carpet in that section that has a water line or something, I have used a hair dryer I cannot get it dry a spot about 6" square. I think tomorrow I will cut the carpet and see what is under there, I don't think it is coming in from the outside. Sorry for the long post. Appreciate all suggestions Thanks Roy
