RE: Brake Buddy

I had always in the past pumped the brake two or 3 times but don't remember if I did this time or not, I had stopped at a rest area about 1 hr before this happened, I will check tomorrow where the break a way wire comes through the fire wall to see if the wire is fractured. I would like to thank every one for your replies, they have been very helpful. Roy

RE: Brake Buddy

I have hooked it up on the passenger side and drove around at different times, it works like it is supposed to, but that still does not explain why it locked the brakes up on the toad for no reason, since no brakes was applied inside the MH> Roy

Brake Buddy

I had problems with my Brake Buddy, I posted on 4/8/14 if any one is interested in reading. When I got back home I called Brake Buddy they had no idea of what happened, said if I would send it in they would look at it, need to send Brake away and all accessory. They have a new Brake Buddy Vantage Select at $1499.00 I think a little high they said they would take my old Brake Buddy and $650.00 for the new one. I don't think I want to use mine even if they overhaul it, it is about 12 years old. does any one have any experience with the Vantage Select. Thanks Roy P.S If the Brake away is activated will it release by it self or do you need to push it back in

RE: Brake Buddy

I have the sensor inside you don't.. think to look at that in a emergency. The back tires did lock up but not as hard as the front. No damage to the rear tires, inspected by the tire dealer. Roy

RE: Hankook AH11 tire prices

What happens if you order online and the tires are 1 year old or older who pays for them to be shipped back. I know they will tell you they won't be a year old but I've heard that before. I will not pay for a year old tire on my MH. Roy

RE: Cooler for Motorhome

Depends where you want to keep it. I bought a small Elect. apartment size cooler at a yard sale for $25.00, I keep it in the basement I plug it up a day before I get ready to leave, after it gets cold fill it up with your favorite drink, it will stay cold until you get where you are going, or you could turn on your inverter, Roy

I have Verizon wireless for home and cell phone, I pay 39.75 for cell phone for 500 minutes family and friends nationwide that is tax and fees, I use about 30 minutes a month, the lowest minute plan Verizon has is 200 minutes at 31.25 I hate to leave Verizon I have had good service with them, they are all kinds of plans with tracfone pay as you go that is pretty cheap, has any of you had any experience with the tracfone while traveling out of your area of residence. Thanks Roy
