RE: B+ motorhomes

That's some nice work Snow, just the type of ideas I'm looking for.I removed one part of the dinette today and will remove the other part next weekend and wait till Spring to begin my project.I will use the Winter Season to plan my remodel job. Which may include converting the dinette area into a media center, converting the tv console area into a mobile device charging area and replacing the sofa with something more comfortable to sleep on. And an Inverter.
By the way, can someone kindly explain to me how to upload photos.
THANKS

RE: B+ motorhomes

Snow and Burl
Thanks for the links to Cheeze1's photos, I think I will be replacing the jack knife sofa with something similar to Cheeze1's mod.I have spoken with a handyman who has agreed to do most of the work i have planned for the RV, including intalling an inverter to run the TV,DVD player and laptop. Right now I'm in the planning and exploring options phase. Last night I removed the TV from the overhead console.
This Forum is a wealth of information and ideas, keep up the great contributions.

RE: B+ motorhomes

Hello all,
I've decided to remove the dinette area in my 2007 Augusta Sport B+ RV since it's not used much and leave the space empty for now. And also to remove the TV from the overhead console and use that space as a charging station for my tablet, laptop and smart phone. I was wondering if there are photos of other member's work that I can see how they remodeled theirs so I can get a few ideas from. I am not the creative type, so any photos and/or ideas will be greatly appreciated. Also thinking of replacing the sofa, just don't know with what yet.
Thank you.

RE: Calling all NY RV'rs

I love my Augusta Sport so much that it became my daily driver since I first bought it new in 2007. I sold the car and only have the RV and my 2004 Honda Silver Wing Scooter. I now have 42000 miles on the RV and will be getting new tires soon since finding cracks on the sidewall. About the only problem I have is the Fridge door bottom hinge broke and where my microwave went the bottom slat of wood broke when I went over a bad bump on the road. so from that location I removed the Microwave and placed it underneath.

RE: Calling all NY RV'rs

Here's a link I just found about NY/LI Parkways and restrictions
I follow one rule while driving around NYC/LI if the overpass is high enough then I drive through it.

RE: Calling all NY RV'rs

Hello, I have a 2007 Augusta sport RV which I drive almost daily in and around NYC. Mostly around Queens NY and I drive a lot on the Grand Central Parkway. So far never been stop by police, and I have seen them driving along side of me many times. I feel at this point, if there are no low bridges then I'm driving on the Parkway. Never drove the RV on the Cross Island Parkway, at least not yet.

RE: B+ motorhomes

Almost forgot, after 5 years with the RV I will finally get it waxed (detailed). I plan to do it myself so any info as to which wax/polisher or method to use will be of great help. I plan on buying a Dual Orbital Machine Polish and Wax Kit. Hopefully I won't ruin my RV.

RE: B+ motorhomes

Thank You Burlmart and Gene in NE, I will most likely get the OEM tires. The mechanic suggested I get Michelin tires because they are a more quieter ride.Right now I'm shopping not so much for the price of the tires, but rather where I'll get the best service.Should be ready to buy and install by the first weekend in June.
