RE: Craigs List Responders

You haven't heard of the couple that were murdered for the very thing you are selling.....a classic car, except they were looking to buy the ficticious car that the murderer listed for sale. Craigs list is a cesspool of criminal activity. Many of the reports mention that it was the couple who posted the ad looking to buy a Mustang.

Ford hearts should be beating faster. Click on the video and your heart beat should increase. Sounds of the past. Good old AMERICAN muscle.

RE: What is your favorite past time?

I ushered the old year out and the new year in pedaling my grocery grabber bicycle. Will be on one of my road racing bikes in about an hour for a 60 mile ride. When I get home I'll pop on the running shoes for a 5K. Tomorrow will start the day off with a mile swim. YUP, my favorite pastime is triathlons. What else would a 64 year old with bad knees, a shoulder and wrist requiring a total joint replacement, a still bothersome neck that was broken in a bicycle crash almost 4 years ago be doing? Have a 5K, 10K, half marathon, marathon, half marathon, 10K and 5K week starting at Disney World next week. Motorhome will be driven to the EPCOT parking lot every morning to be used as a base camp before and after the races then back to Fort Wilderness to relax after showering and having breakfast. Staying as active as possible until I kick the bucket. :) Happy New Year, all.

RE: Dental Professional Question - Sonicare

10+ years using with only one professional cleaning done and even that one was not worth the $$$$ because there was no difference. Also used Glide floss until I recently switched to REACH Total Care by J&J. Finish things up with some mouthwash. Posted the above 5-03-13 and still haven't gone back to a dentist for a cleaning or check-up. Had to finally replace the Pro with a new one because there are just so many clumsy drops it can take and I exceeded that number.

RE: Dodge Challenger Hellcat

Awesome power no doubt, but personally, I wouldn't mind replacing the mild but good looking 1968 GT350 I had with a 2016 GT350.

RE: Hyperparathyroidism-anyone have any experience with this

Sorry to read about your MIL's issues. Sure seems like a rather strange occurrence. So only one of the four glands was enlarged and then some how moved? :h I had a parathyroid tumor-upper right gland, had it removed along with the left half of thyroid. Both were massive in size. Doctor commented that my low salt diet caused the goiter issue since I was not getting enough iodine in my diet. I now take liquid drop supplement for iodine. Great info site from Dr. Norman

RE: Foggy Dual Pane Windows

Well I had it done today and the two windows I changed to single pane windows at Boyd;s St Augustine,Fl are great, cost was $424 and a great job. One other thought...your windshield is not thermopane so why do you need thermopane side windows? I personally do not intend to camp in cold weather and if I did,I guess I could insulate windows with bubble wrap. Glad to read you are happy. Any noticeable sound difference now with the new windows?

RE: Hankook or Firestone 22.5????

Thanks for the feed back. 235/80R-22.5 is a Michelin size and story from 2 tire guys is that as of right now the run is going to new MH production and not sure when they would become available. Thought current tires would do for a while but seeing cracks now and trip is next week so need the new ones pronto.

RE: Going back to cash

You can play the same game using a CC and reap rewards, discounts and interest. No financial advantages with your method.

RE: Going back to cash

Keep on paying with cash people. I go out on my runs and find cash on the ground all the time. Found 12 cents today, 30 cents on Wednesday, found $10.00 in a parking lot a few months ago, haven't found a CC yet, but even if I did I couldn't legally use it. Don't pay fees or interest either with the CCs so price is the same as cash. At gas stations that have a cash discount, the 5% off using the CC is WAY MORE OFF than the cash discount. Forgot, using the CC keeps my money building interest until the statement comes.

RE: Christmas decorations are in stores ALREADY!

Doesn't bother me one bit. Can be Christmas all year long as far as I'm concerned. Wonder how many of those complaining ever had a retail business that relied on the season to make up a substantial portion of sales/profits????? 40 years ago we had people doing a Lay-Away for Christmas as early as July.
