RE: ISLE of MAN TT , The Greatest show on earth !

I understand that they now give a mental competency test to everyone that wants to compete. Those that are found to be mentally competent though are not allowed to participate! :) WRONG!!!! The test is given to the spectators. They are NUTS for standing so close to the roads.

RE: Prayer for Fellow RVer

If it is prostate cancer that he has, I suggest they access https://www.inspire.com/conditions/prostate-cancer/ as an excellent resource for prostate cancer information. My prostate cancer was diagnosed as a Gleason Score 10 at age 64.5, the most aggressive form. I immediately chose a bilateral orchiectomy, castration, to eliminate 95% of testosterone production.

RE: Home Gym Equipment

I'm a 26 mile a week runner, but for winter I use an elliptical that's set up in my garage. Not as good as running but it's gives you a decent workout as long as you do it right - aggressive program, maintain high pace, reverse/forward, etc. Ours is a commercial unit we purchased used and it's far better than s consumer model. Whatever equipment you buy I do recommend commercial. One of the perks of living in FL. is our nice winter weather. Bicycled this past weekend in the 2017 Bike Sebring 12/24 Hour Race. http://www.bikesebring.org/ Didn't bicycle the full 24 hours but did ride 307.8 miles in the little less than 22 hours I was riding. Don't need no stinking indoor exerciser equipment around here in the winter. :B

RE: Metformin (diabetes med)

As explained and as is on line, the side effects are usually manageable but unpleasant and can be short lived or not. I am on 1700mg/day for a protocol prostate cancer control treatment along with Avodart. Still feeling the results almost 2 years after starting on it.

RE: 2017 Cherokee Trailhawk Experience ?

Anyone out there with a 2017 Trailhawk for a TOAD ? I just purchased one and would like advice on prep for towing and installation of the eyelets for attaching the tow bar. Would appreciate a private message. Thanks. ENJOY your Trailhawk. Wife just her 2017 Cherokee Overland 4x4 last Saturday and sadly it is not towable AT ALL. Didn't realize it has to be on a trailer. So much for towing the new car, will have to hook up the Taurus instead.

RE: On gifts and giving.

We stopped gift giving for all special days long ago. Just funny little joke things that cost almost nothing. Wife takes care of grandchildren gifts with one gift/cash to a certain dollar amount.

RE: Question for all the shaved headed men out there.

Norelco http://www.usa.philips.com/c-p/AT810_41/norelco-shaver-4100-wet-dry-electric-shaver-series-4000-with-aquatec-wet-or-dry-shaving-and-pop-up-trimmer or Norelco http://www.usa.philips.com/c-p/1150X_40/norelco-shaver-6100-wet-dry-electric-shaver-series-6000 Both are good BUT like others, I have gone to the #1 guard so a little hair is left that allows me to slide my T shirts off easier. Could not get a totally smooth scalp to last longer than a day using electric.

RE: How Do I remove This Trim Piece On A Fleetwood

I have the weep hole covers, I know what you are talking about its a annoying squeak that has got worse over time, I have done all that I can from inside and I do believe the screws behind that trim are loose because the squeak comes from the exact same spot on other side of wall. well pitter patter lets get at er its pretty simple to remove the moulding and take a look Yea I can just get out a screw driver and pry away but what I am trying to learn is how to remove without damage. :W once you get the little clip off at the bottom then you pry the moulding to pop it off the track to start then its just pulls off after that.it really very easy to do its a aluminum track with a edge on each side and the plastic moulding clips over the edge on each side Moulding link.1st one is the aluminum plate and second the plastic molding that clips over http://www.prvparts.com/product-p/42948.htm http://www.prvparts.com/product-p/100.htm Sounds like a winner here. BTW OP, the MH is in great shape unlike my 2009. EVERY WINDOW HAS FOGGED and cap paint clear coat is coming off along with hood. :(

RE: Looking at Fort Wilderness for Thanksgiving

Ok so here's an update after everyone's advice we have been checking constantly for the past 5 days and I managed to book 3 separate reservations so far. On Sunday I lucked into openings on the 20-21st, on Monday I was able to catch the 19th and on Tuesday morning I lucked upon the 22nd. Who Hoo!!!!! So over the next 2 months I just need to secure the 23rd 24th and 25th. Thanks again and keep sending any advise you can share. FANTASTIC NEWS :B keep on calling, keep on calling

RE: Looking at Fort Wilderness for Thanksgiving

Call everyday, multiple times even. Then take less days, if you can get them, and then try to extend. That has worked for me in the past. Yep up until the last minute you can cancel for only a $200 up to 2 days prior to arrival so last minute cancellations are doable ??????? Don't understand the...."for only $200.00 up to 2 days prior to arrival".....is this something NEW???? We are at FW now. Have been coming since 1980. Standard reservation requires one night deposit refundable if cancelled 5 days out from arrival. Many cancellations are last minute so the best plan of attack is to call at 7:00AM EDT. At that time you will be first inline or almost first and have the previous day's cancellations available to book. If Dory was here she would say as others have.....KEEP ON CALLING, KEEP ON CALLING..... :B Best of luck to you and now it's off to MK for us.
