We'll be leaving Montana in late December for Arizona and then on to the Florida Keys in February to celebrate our 45 years of marriage. Our kids and spouses (Spice?) will meet us there. I'm ready already...

Just thought of the ol' Dollar Store. What? Get new jars first?? Actually I used some spice jars we have as a model. Just need some others for what rides in the zip-lock bags... Most of them, esp. Ebay, are priced too high for my McLellan blood. Thanks to all...
Spice jars
I just built two oak spice racks for the inside of the doors above the sink in our Mirada. Now I'm looking for a reasonable source for empty, plastic spice bottles/jars. The three ouncers, about 3-4" tall seem about right. The racks were more work than I had anticipated, but look fine, according to the DW aka the "Spice of my Life."

I have a small stuffed Moose, Monty, on the driver's side dash. I can look quickly and easily at his "antlers" and gauge my position in reference to the center line. It all works.
