RE: 2008 Challenger
Ngreen, wow you have replace a lot of items, we only get to use ours about 3-5 days at a time approx. 8 trips a summer. Can't wait to retire so I can go more often.
2008 Challenger
I really like my 2008 Keystone challenger and I was just wondering on an average how old before you have to start replacing parts? I store it inside within a couple miles of where I camp, I decided it was worth the storage cost to extend the life. What are the parts that usually go out first. I realize each rv is different just curious on what others have experienced. Thank you all for your time.
RE: Norcold refridgerator not cooling
I had a similar problem with mine, mine was located on one of my slide outs, in my case it would get cold when I first turned it on then slowly heat up, took it several places and no one could seem to find what was causing it. One company finally cured the problem. They did two things, first adjusted the door so it sealed really good when we shut it, then added two big fans in the back and it has worked perfect every since.
Double door fridge
Finally after several trips to repair shop our fridge is finally working like it should. Use to cool down to 33 deg then slowly work its way up to 48-50 and stay there all weekend. As a note my fridge is on a slide out, Here is what they did to fix the problem; added two large fans in the back of the unit and adjusted the doors to allow a better seal when closed. I'm not sure which item was more important, all i know is we finally have it fixed. Hope this helps someone else.
