For a temporary fix till you get to a body shop you can use JB Weld for plastic.

RE: Customer Service Camping World of Asheville

Maybe your sales associate did not communicate to the web team at the dealership that you had purchased. The people who send out these e-mails are not always the sales associate. Just pulling from the e-mail you provided.

RE: Protecting the screen door from dogs

Go to Home Depot and get some Plexiglas and some Velcro. Have the Plexiglas cut to the size of your door and attach with Velcro. This also makes a nice storm door for the winter. You can leave your door open and minimal heat escapes.

RE: Bearing failure

I replaced my right one at about 100,000. I bought 2 cause I figured the left my go too. By the way, it was on my '05 GMC Sierra, go figure. Ordered mine from Amazon at $43 a piece new (Prime Choice Auto Parts), took me about an hour to put it on. Now I just wait for the other one to get lose or squeek.

RE: 9 pin plug avion

They make 7/9 pin (from vehicle) to 4 pin adapters but I don't think the other way around. This is so you can pull a utility trailer from a 7/9 pin vehicle plug. Avions are big trailers and you will need the electric brakes. Looks like you may need to get your vehicle wired for 9 pin.

RE: What's Your Overall Length?

We are at 52' and have only had problems in some state parks that have narrow roads and tight corners around/through trees. Oleno state park in north Florida comes to mind but the sites are fine. Backing into some spots with narrow roads and alot of foliage right at the road edges can sometimes be tricky.

RE: Just venting

I feel your pain. It sometimes feels like we never get to go and it is frustrating. We try to just do weekend trips within an hour of home just to get away. Heck, I use it when my daughter has sleepovers, the peace and quiet away from 5-6 giggly girls is worth the extra "house". Don't give up unless you absolutely have to or the costs outweigh the means. Making time for the getaways is a good thing, we all need time away to rest and clear the mind. Whatever decision you make I hope it is the right one for your situation.

RE: Looking for a tablet that will do GPS - not an Ipad.

I have the Levovo IdeaPad (7"). I run Co Pilot and love it. Bought a windshield suction cup mount off of Amazon and it works great. You do not need any service to run this GPS. The links below are only to show the product. Ideapad Windshield mount

RE: Help finding 4 lane roads

We are at 55', and I tell you I would not take interstates unless I am ABSOLUTELY forced to. The people on 4 lane roads are in to big of a hurry and it makes the drive just that more miserable. Width shouldn't be an issue the more comfortable you are with your rig.

How about one of these two http://aero-rv.com/media/floorplans/aero-rv/2012/large/315bhss.jpg or this one with its own room in the back. http://aero-rv.com/media/floorplans/aero-rv/2012/large/318bhss.jpg

RE: Tow capabilities question

Having a truck with the 5.3l, I will tell you I would not pull a trailer that may gross 8300 lbs. when loaded. I pull a 6400 lb. loaded trailer on the flat lands of Florida, Georgia and Alabama, and I will tell you I would not dare take it to the mountains unless I absolutely had to. It pulls fine for me but I would not go heavier. You may want to go with your gut and buy that 250 and not worry about which trailer you get. If I had the chance, and as soon as I can, I am upgrading my truck to a one ton. GLHF
