My wifes sister was always hitting us up for money. Finally my wife told her "Don't ask me for money anymore" "Your living beyond your means!" That was several years ago. She doesn't bother us anymore. Problem solved!
RE: Ford V10 vs Chevy 350
I had 6.0 in a 29ft class C and it had plenty of power! Crossed the Rockies several times with no problems at all. I've had 3 V10's and they are OK but very noisy. I liked the Chev much better.
RE: 1st RV - so many choices - Winnebago?????
There will be no Access for 2014. Winnebago will only make the Access Premier. They are also bringing back the Minnie Winnie as their lower cost Class C
RE: leveling jacks
I just ordered a 2014 Winnebago Access Premier 31"8" and specified automatic jacks. The last 3 class C's I owned did not have jacks and I got sick and tired of fooling around with boards and blocks. Never believe a salesman! He's wrong! Although they are not mandatory, they sure are a lot easier than the alternative! I would get them!
Change in Winnebago/Itasca Lines
For 2014 Winnebago will no longer make the Access line.They will make the Access Premier, Impulse Silver, and the lower cost Minnie Winnie line. Today I ordered a 2014 Access Premier 31WP, loaded with automatic jacks and most of the goodies. Our 2011 26Q was a wonderful coach, but we needed more room. Currently waiting to hear a delivery time. Prices are up about 2%.
