RE: boondocking - why do you do it and where?

Well, wish I had the opportunity to boondock where you guys do! Here in the mid-atlantic, when we boondock, it's usually just a few hours in a travel plaza or truck stop to extend our travel. Pull in, catch a few winks, wake up - coffee and simple breakfast - then to our destination. Works for us on occasion.

RE: dulley tire stem extenion

I'd second the Tireman Brass Stems. Have had them on since 2008 - no issues - easy checking air pressure

RE: Maine in June

Went last June - we enjoyed the Bar Harbor area immensely. Recommend hitting a lobster pound for a lobster roll (though I prefer the broiled in butter type rather than the mayo type) and Jordan's Pond for afternoon Tea and Pop-overs. Wrote a little about the trip @ http://roadabode.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html Once up in Maine, 95 was pretty much a lonely road for us.
