RE: Cats????

Our cat loved to travel. His needs:
Litter boxes(s)
Food
Water
Good leash he couldn't back out of.
You also may need a record of your cats shots.

RE: Near the beach CG between Daytona and St Augustine?

Our friends stayed at:
Coral Sands
in Ormond Beach. It's right on the beach and is as close to Daytona as you're going to get. They really liked it.

RE: motor and transmission service recommendation maine/nh

Rochester truck in Rochester, NH is great. We've had a lot of service there. They do a good job at a fair price. We have found no one else in the area.

RE: Woodland Campground Woodland, PA

Be sure to post your review on rvparkreviews.com also. It gets pretty good ratings there.

RE: camp ground ratings

I gave up on them and now use rvparkreviews.com. If you read all their reviews you'll get a pretty accurate sense for the place. If that proves to be inaccurate, you can provide your own review. I suspect an CG that buys an ad gets a good rating in Trailer Life.

RE: RV park in North Myrlte Beach,SC ?

Willow Tree is absolutely beautiful. They have a nice pool and play area for kids. The lots are huge. It's a 10 minute ride to NMB from Longs. They have a sandy beach on their lake and a nice nature trail going around the lake.

RE: Tire Pressure Monitor

I have the TST and it works well. I believe the newer ones have a replaceable battery.

RE: Where to stay in Asheville, NC ??

I would recommend either Mama Gerties or Campfire Lodgings. Both are great and get good reviews.

RE: cig smell removal how

I tried an ozone machine once and it removed the smell for 24 hours (which is why car dealers use it just before you pick it up). As someone said, remove everything porous and paint everything that isn't.

RE: RV Campground Recommendations - Adirondacks

In Lake George, Ledgeview is nice but we like Lake George RV park better. We saw Ticonderoga and Lake Placid all from Lake George.

RE: rolling stones - if we dont, we're gonna blow a 50 amp fuse

All of your equipment will run, assuming you have no uncommon 240 volt appliances. The 30/50 adapter supplies the single 120 hot leg to both of the 50 amp service hot legs. The 30 amp breaker limit does mean you won't be able to run as many devices at the same time though, so you'll need to alternate the heavy draw item usage. This is unusual, a response to a 50 amp/30amp question that is absolutely correct. But just wait, I am pretty sure a whole bunch of goofy-deer responses will still show up.
LOL but so true.

RE: Chevy Tahoe as a toat?

Although pronounced "toad", I believe it is spelled "towed" as in "towed vehicle". Good luck with your towed.
From Wiki:
Towed vehicle or "toad"
A car or other vehicle that is towed behind motorhomes for use when the motorhome is set up in a campground and connected to utilities. Also called a "dinghy". Fairly common in the U.S. and Canada, less common in Europe, it becomes a virtual necessity for owners of motor coaches stretching 40 or 45 feet, difficult to maneuver in places like supermarket parking lots.

RE: Towing 2013 chevy 4X4 with auto?

I used to tow an '05 Silverado with the manual transfer case. I now tow a '13 Avalanche. It has the electronic transfer case. There is a simple procedure in the owners manual for putting the transfer case in Neutral. I understand the Silverado is the same.

RE: Lake George RV Park - Saratoga Springs, NY

Almost anywhere in the park is great. We usually stay in the middle of the large main area. The area to the right and down the hill is very secluded. Too secluded for us. The other area we've had friends in and don't like is the paved overflow area to the left, down the hill and in back of the pool. You will really enjoy it there, especially with kids. Bring your bikes.

RE: Best place to stop over near GA FLO border

Look at KiKi in Kingsland, GA off exit 3. It's owned by the EconoLodge. It is not a destination CG. It's just a place to spend the night. They have pull Thru's and it's cheap.

RE: Rescue Remedy, does it work?

Our cat hated traveling in the car but was OK with the Class A. He loved going outside on a leash once we arrived at our destination. He was 15 when he had his first ride in the MH.
