The outside speakers on my XT-245 cannot be adusted off. My son and I looked around and we were not able to control them. My son is looking at a way to mod the existing system. I will post what he comes up with.

Is it acessable from within the trailer or from the roof?

Hi!
Thanks for your interest in our web site! I have your question asked many times. I do not make recommendations for use of the hard start boosters with generators because I have never used them for this purpose. I only use them as a last ditch effort to hopefully unlock a stuck compressor. I could not guarantee this would solve your problem, but I know a lot of people use them to help start an air conditioner when being powered by a generator. We have many people purchase them to be used for this purpose. Here is a link to our hard start booster page if you want to try one out.
Click here: Compressor Hard Start Boosters I would recommend the SPP6 if you have a 110 volt AC and the SPP6E if you have a 220 volt unit.

Yamaha EF2400si Generator and 13K AC
I purchased a very slightly used Yamaha EF2400si generator for half the retail price off craigslist. :) I knew that it may be a gamble that it may not power on my AC unit in my Funfinder XTra, but the price was right.
The generator turns on the A/C unit only after switching the system in fan mode first, wait a few seconds, then switching to A/C.
It is my understanding that there some type of "capacitor kit" that may help.
After A/C is on, I'm able to turn on everything minus the microwave.

My bank matched my Credit Union rate prior to purchasing. 6-7% is about average in todays market. Also make sure it is simple interest...... before signing. Yes, there are still some financial institutions that will stick it to you.

I have the Terra Grapplers on my H2 rimmed 2500HD. Very impressed with the wear and noise (same as when new). I have approx. 25,000 miles on them and they are about half worn.

Mapguy - that was quick. Thanks. I just checked my truck and it has a 40amp fuse in that location. My wife recalled that when we were picking up our Fun Finder XT245 the tech that was installing the brake controller opened the hood and installed the fuse.

Don't know what you're towing with but if its a GM truck you need to make sure the 50 amp fuse is installed on the "post" that charges the RV. For some stupid reason they don't install the fuse at the factory even with the tow package.
Can someone explain this further? Where is this fuse located?

Subfloor paint and expanding foam - Where to buy?
Two Questions:
1 - On my FF XT245 (I'm sure other manufacturesr) the floor plywood is painted black (the side that is exposed to the road), does anyone know who manufacters this stuff and where can I get it?
2 - The "black" expanding foam that is used to fill in/around the holes where it enters the inside, where can I purchase it?

You can also remove the tires and place the axles on "these" just to get the trailer in your storage area. I made up a set with verticle plates with different bolt patterns that I bolt to the axles, this way its more stable.
Just a thought.
