RE: tracFone coverage area??

Tracfone uses AT&T towers the last I heard. Coverage should be as good as any other service.

RE: Weights

Well, first of all, you are WAY over the GVWR for your truck. 10,580, or nearly 2,000 lbs over. No, you aren't quite over the axle's ratings, but whoever told you that you were good to go with that truck and 5er combo has no idea what they are talking about. To find the pin weight, you need to now weigh your truck alone, with the same amount of "stuff" that was in in when you weighed the whole setup. You can usually get a free re-weigh if you do it at the same time. Subtract the un-trailered weight from the trailered weight to get your pin. He`s not over his tow rating.

RE: Weights

It looks like your truck weights are from the rating sticker on the truck. Those are the maximum ratings, not what the truck weighs. you need to weigh the truck on the scale without the trialer.

RE: Beware of Collars

We had the same thing happen years ago with 2 boxers. Our dogs were OK but I`ve heard of tragic ends with other dogs that strangled.

RE: Ohio Turnpike RV overnight rates and info

Last time we were through there it cost $15 for overnight. I believe there are 3 rest areas on the Ohio pike that have hookups. Water , electric and a dump station. Longer rigs don`t fit. Found them on their website. 76.9 , 139.5 and 197 mile markers. In both directions.

RE: F450 insurance

We are insured with Allstate. As long as it`s not used commercially there should be no problem.

RE: PA drivers

I think that is for commercial applications. We pay just for the truck.

RE: Bird hitting the rear window on 5er.....

A plastic owl or a rubber snake tied to the ladder should work. You need to move them around to a different spot occasionally.
