Decaying decals

I've got some decals rolling up on my front cap that really looks bad. I want to remove some of them, and the glue. Anyone out there have any suggestions on how to do this without damaging the fiberglass?
Thanks in advance for your input.

RE: Trying to find a dress for my gd

Thanks dalenoel...I thought you did it, but my DW says it was close but not quite the right one.
Thanks again for all who tried. I guess we'll move toward another direction, as time is running short for the jolly old elf to arrive.

RE: Trying to find a dress for my gd

Thanks Mod, but no.
This is an actual dress for a five year old to wear. I found one on Amazon for $80, and they say it's the only one left......However, they have been saying that for at least two days...I smell a rat.

Trying to find a dress for my gd

Hey guys. I'm not sure to look, but have been on many web sites. I'm looking for a Barbie and Rock Star dress for my 5 year old GD. It has to be the purple one. I would like to purchase on-line for a family gathering in two weeks.
If anyone out there can point me in the right direction, it surely will make her day....and Papaw's too.
Thanks for any help...

RE: On the road handling

OP here.
Thanks for all the replies. Although, it seems that whatever I buy, I'll need to add all kinds of after market parts to be comfortable and safe.
Maybe I'll go to the Tent forum and see if they have the same issues....:h
Thanks again....

On the road handling

Hi guys.
We're staying in an RV park while building our retirement home. We've been fulltimers for two years now in a fiver. We plan to take extended vacations, but are considering a class C. Some of the folks that pass thru here say that they don't like the movement they get from wind and big rigs passing them.
So, how does your class C handle during this situation?
Thanks

Big Tex

I guess you guys heard about Big Tex burning to the ground a few weeks back at the Dallas fair.
Turns out that the officials found a suicide note in the rubble that read....Mr. Jones, I just couldn't stand to see the Cowboys end up with another losing season.....So Good-Bye....:B

The ol' R/V wiggle

We are fulltimers living in a 35' fiver. We are building a house, and plan to buy a C for extended vacations. I installed the StrongArm system on the fiver, which made a great improvement to the "wiggle" when the DW was walking around while I was still in bed.
Do the class C's have the same wiggle, and if so, does the auto levelers help?
Thanks

RE: Going from a Class A (gasser) to a C

Thanks for all the replies. As always I get great info from you guys.
donn0128...I thought I might get hammered for a double post, but it really isn't. I asked folks in the A forum why they left their C, and folks in the C forum, why they switched from their A. Different situations and more info to help me decide.
Thanks again....Skip

Going from a Class A (gasser) to a C

For those of you that went from a class A to a C, what were your deciding factors? We are looking at both, and the newer models don't differ in price that much, for both.
Thanks for you input.

Going from a C to a class A gasser

For those of you that have a class A now, and moved from a class C, why the change? We're looking at both, and trying to decide. It seems that a newer A and C are about the same price, at least within $10 to $15K.
Thanks for your input.

Any problems with pulling a 35 foot fiver accross this route? The map show some mountains, but not much on road conditions or grades.

RE: Driver training in Colorado

If you would like to try out his new skills, hook up and take the rig to and from Ouray, CO, from Silverton, on Hwy 550. It's absolutely the most beautiful drive we've taken here in Co, but abit challenging to several R/V's along the way....:B

Hwy 550 Silverton to Ouray CO

We're staying just a few miles north of Durango, CO. Decided to take a drive, today, to Silverton, and then on to Ouray, about a forty mile run. What a beautiful trip!!
On our way back from Ouray, we saw some RVers on the side of the road. We stopped to give aid to an older class C, but he said his rig had vapor-locked, and had just restarted.
We saw a semi on the side with the driver checking out his brakes, and followed a forty footer class A down a mountain, until he pulled over near the bottom. I slowed down when we passed and tooted our horn, but he waved us on.
We were in elevations probably between 10 and 12 K feet.
Since we've been looking hard at going to to a D/P, with the engine and air brakes, how much of a problem can we really expect on the steep and longer down hill runs?
I know there's many different situations, as driving habits and maintenance, but is this a real problem with the larger rigs?
I would also like to hear from you guys with the class A gas engines, since we've been looking at them also.
Thanks,

Anyone out there would recommend a r/v park within a twenty-five mile radius of Durango, CO? We'll be heading that way in a few days.
