RE: MrsSoCalToolGuy had a stroke
Hi everybody, thanks for your thoughts. Barb is doing great and is getting better by the day. She must be getting better as she is getting back to her old ornery self. She is back on the computer now and has been reading the forum so if you want to you can send her a PM and she will get back to you. I know she enjoys talking to all of you.
Thanks again,
Ray
RE: MrsSoCalToolGuy had a stroke
Ok, here is an update on Barb's condition. She came home from the hospital last week and has steadily improved but her condition still remains the same. She has weakness and loss of coordination on her right side. It will be a while before she can use her right hand and arm and her right leg and foot are weak. She wants to use the computer but she can't use her hand to operate the mouse or type. I reversed the mouse buttons but using her left hand is not easy. We have been doing some walking and she is using a couple of things to exercise while watching tv. It will just take time and much work on her part. I have faith, knowing her strong will, that she will be back to normal in a very short time. Thanks to all of you for your kind thoughts and prayers. I will keep you updated as much as I can.

MrsSoCalToolGuy had a stroke
I wasn't going to double post but when I told Barb (MrsSoCalToolGuy), I had posted on the pet board she told me that she spends most of her time here around the campfire. Last Saturday Barb had a minor stroke and spent a couple of days in the hospital. She is home now and will eventually be fine. But for the time being she is a bit damaged on the right side. A weakness in her hand, arm, leg, foot and corner of her mouth. The doctors said that she will be ok in time after some rehab or therapy. For now she just needs rest and your prayers. Thanks,
Ray
MrsSoCalToolGuy had a stroke
My wonderful wife of 39 years Barb, had a minor stroke last Saturday. I know she hangs out here and around the campfire. I wasn't sure where to post this so I chose here. I didn't want to double post. She is back at home and resting but having a tough time adjusting to not being able to do simple things that should come naturally. The doctors gave her a very good chance of a full recovery in time. She had a battery of tests and everything came back positive. So if you all could send up a prayer for her we would both be very appreciative. I know she thinks an awful lot of you folks. I'm sure she will be back on line when she feels up to it. Thanks for your concern,
Ray
p.s.you all probably know her as MrsBarb
