My only critique would be either way more fruit or less cream mixture. You might have done something wrong. Both times that has been made in my family the mixture has been med. thickness.

I think they called it a salad because you toss everything in together

STRAWBERRY BANANA CHEESECAKE SALAD Stir together: 1 bag of miniature marshmallows 16 oz of vanilla yogurt 1 regular size tub of cool whip 1 (3 1/2 ounce) box/pkg of no bake cheese cake filling (just add in and mix with rest of ingredients…do not actually make the mix) Stir in 1-2 containers of sliced up strawberries 3-4 sliced up bananas Other fruits can be substituted or added as desired. Best served chilled and same day due to banana discoloration

RE: Best HOMEMADE Potato Salad Recipe?

If it does not have cucumber in it, it seems like something is missing to me. I agree. Sometimes I put raddishes in too.

RE: Bacon, Bacon

If you are from up North don't even bother to buy a pizza in Florida! Sauce is an option. and then when you ask for it to be a little more than a dab they look at you like your are from outer space. I gave up on my search for a goog tasting pizzeria pizza in Florida. :( Once you've eaten Chicago pizza you are forever damaged to like pizza anywhere else on this planet! :B I have lived in Florida for 38 years and I have never gotten a pizza as you describe. Like every where there are good pizza and bad. I am from NY.

RE: Pork Loin into Canadian Bacon

I make the Peameal Bacon. Peameal Bacon Pork loin 1/2 teaspoon of Morton Tender Quick per pound of pork 1/2 teaspoon of sugar per pound of pork Mix together and rub into pork loin Place loin in a plastic bag and seal. Refrigerate and allow to cure for 3-5 days Remove from cure and allow to soak in cool water for 30 minutes Pat Dry Then roll in corn meal.( I put corn meal on wax paper and roll. Depending on how big the pork loin is will determine how much corn meal.) Then slice and fry

RE: Holding Tanks

After reading that it was a common practice we looked it up in our manual and our unit does empty the sink in our bathroom to our black tank. I like it this way better. With our Travel Trailer When we didn't have full hookups I used to keep a dish pan in our kitchen sink and dump that water down the toilet to keep our gray water tank from filling that fast. I want to thank everyone for your help.

Holding Tanks

We have a new 2014 Class C Motor Home. After 10 months we finally figured out the holding tanks. Has been in the shop for this 3 times. A fellow camper figured the last part of this. Our Shower and Kitchen sink empties into the gray tank and our Toilet and bathroom sink empties into the black tank. I kinda like this now that I know what is going on. I kept on telling our dealer that nobody could produce that much black water in a couple of days but they thought I was a little crazy. My question is- does anybody see anything wrong with this. We always empty both tanks before we leave the campground but now I don't find myself filling the black water like I used to on the Trailer we had.

RE: Flu

The two best things to do to prevent the flu: 1. Wash your hands. 2. Repeat step 1. I second that. My doctor also said not to use anti-bacterial soap as it makes germs smart.

Spicy Italian Crescent Ring

Spicy Italian Crescent Ring Ingredients 2 cans (8 oz) Pillsbury™ refrigerated crescent dinner rolls 1/2 cup well drained roasted red bell peppers (from a jar) 8 slices provolone cheese, halved 1/3 lb deli sliced hot salami 1/4 lb deli sliced ham 1/4 lb deli sliced capocollo 1/2 cup well drained hot pepper rings (from a jar) Steps 1 Heat oven to 375°F. 2 Unroll both cans of dough; separate into 8 rectangles. On ungreased 12-inch pizza pan, arrange rectangles in ring so short sides of rectangles form a circle in center. (Dough will overlap; half of each rectangle will hang over edge of pan. Dough ring should resemble a sun.) 3 Spread roasted red bell peppers towards center of ring on bottom halves of rectangles. Top with half of the cheese. Layer salami, ham and capocollo slices over cheese. Arrange pepper rings over top. Cover with remaining half of cheese. 4 Bring each dough rectangle hanging over side of pan up over stacked filling, tucking dough under bottom layer of dough to secure it. Repeat around sandwich until entire filling is enclosed (some filling might show a little but that is okay.) Sprinkle with black pepper. 5 Bake 18 to 22 minutes or until dough is golden brown and thoroughly baked. Remove from oven; cool 5 to 10 minutes before cutting into serving slices. To drain the roasted red bell peppers thoroughly, use a fine mesh strainer, then set on a few paper towels to absorb any extra moisture. *If you don’t like it spicy, switch out the deli meats for a milder flavor, and swap in some ripe olives instead of the hot pepper rings

RE: Decisions, decisions....

Go to Healthcare.gov. That's the Affordable healthcare Site(Obamacare) You can look at the plans, prices and see if you qualify. I just signed up for my second year on this since my husband retired and all our benefits left when he retired. I do very good on it. Also got good dental insurance through it.

RE: Most and least used Kitchen appliance.

I answered this question before but it was built in items. If I had to bring one item on a long trip with me it would be my Kitchen Kettle. It is a multi-use product that can do a lot of stuff at a reasonable price. Last time I looked Walmart was selling it for 24.99.
