RE: 3 day weekend: Fri Sat Sun or Sat Sun Mon?

My vote is for Friday-Sunday except for Monday Holidays. I guess I'm different. I love the excitement and people at the campground.

One restaurant we go to that has dinning outside on the water uses fishing tackle boxes to store everything.

RE: Boars Head hot dogs? A hot dog discussion.

Here in upstate NY, Zwiegles Pop Open are the favorite red hots, and their white hots get sent all over the place. I hate to admit to it but I found Hebrew National several years ago and there is no going back. They are so tasty, it's all I buy now - unless my parents are over and then it has to be Zwiegles. Zwiegles are the best. Nothing like Rochester Hot Sauce. They are the one thing I miss about Rochester. Just found out we have a place not far from us here in Florida Called Roc Food and serve food from Rochester including Fish Fry and also the Garbage Plate.

RE: Strawberry Cream Cheese Cobbler

That sounds really good. I wonder how it would be with a quart of rhubarb replacing a quart of strawberries? I might have to try it. I think any fruit you like might be good.

Strawberry Cream Cheese Cobbler

Strawberry Cream Cheese Cobbler 1 stick ( 1/2 cup) butter 1 egg, lightly beaten 1 cup milk 1 cup all-purpose flour 1 cup sugar 2 teaspoons baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt 2 quarts whole strawberries, capped and washed 4 ounces cream cheese, cut in small pieces Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Melt butter and pour into a 9-by-13-inch glass baking dish. In a small bowl, mix together the egg, milk, flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Pour directly over the butter in the baking dish, but do not stir. Add the strawberries, arranging in a single layer as much as possible. Sprinkle cream cheese pieces over strawberries. Place in preheated oven and bake for 45 minutes, or until top is golden brown and edges are bubbling. (Crust rises up and around the fruit, but fruit will still peek out of top.)

RE: Exemplary Customer Service

Glad you found what you wanted. I always say if you buy something cheaper but not happy with it, then it's wasted money. You'll never wear it. Feeling good will make your vacation in the Virgin Islands much better. Have a good time.

RE: trailer lenth

I 69 this month and for the last several years I've noticed it seems when when I gain a year in age the Trailer grows a foot in lenth especially when backing into a site. ;) We finally switched to a motorhome last year. So did we. Even tho I loved my little trailer pictured, I have to say the MH is much easier.

RE: Crock pot beef roast

I just put the roast in the Crock pot and add a can of dice tomatoes usually the ones that have garlic and onions. If you use the plain just add any spices you like.
