RE: Interstate speeds

Pulled my 40 ft'er between 65 and 67. Iv'e only made a few pulls with newer trailer but my truck does the best at the same mph. 65-67 here and our speeds are 65-70 most highways or turnpike.

RE: Crazy idea- add 1/2 bath to garage area?

Have you looked at the Fuzion 417? https://dms.rvimg.com/dms/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/Keystone_Fuzion_2017_417_FP.png width=800 Just traded our 385 for the 417. Bringing it home on the 7th.

My wife and I like a floor plan and actually looked at the TH. Im opposite of you, would like to remove the 1/2 bath taking up space in the garage.

RE: Looking for 5th wheel ideas

My Keystone Fuzion 325 seems to meet all of your requirements. Mine has a king bed (which I regret) but queen is standard. 38' long. Odd question for you. Could you measure LxW of your mattres ? Mines supposed to be the King size also but we can find the correct sheets for it. I prefer fitted sheets and 68"x80" is not to be had. Finally measured for you. It appears to be 68"x80". Thanks...

RE: Towing

You should consider whether or not having the box of your truck available for storage while you are on the road is a significant factor. Don't forget that with a fifth wheel younwill still have the wart in your box when the trailer is not attached. When my hitch is out, I have a totally flat bed, just like the truck comes from the factory. Except it has a 3" diameter hole, but that is all. Couldn't agree more. Today's hitches are outstanding. Depending on dually, if it's equipped with a puck system hitches drop right in and out.

RE: How many people use the patio on toyhaulers

Have the rear patio on ours. If we're at a campground we usually try for a pull-thru site. Never a problem with site space. It's nice for us, dogs have some more room and little more shade if the suns hitting the side. we have seasonal doors separating patio from garage and a glass weather man door separating garage from living quarters. Enjoy ours when camping!

RE: 6 point leveling????

My biggest concern with that new fuzion would be the residential fridge setup. What a joke for a toyhauler. Curious. What's wrong with the fridge set-up? I want to first say I think the fusions are amazing toyhaulers. That being said I really don't think a residential fridge belongs in a toyhauler. The majority of toyhaulers in Ca are used without hookups. So a 110 fridge that comes with a single 12v battery is not gonna work for long. Obviously you can build a large battery bank and install solar I just think it would be a bad surprise for someone who doesn't understand how it all works. The salesman just say "well that's what you have the genny for". Nobody wants to run or hear a generator 24/7. Toyhaulers are designed to be used off the grid obviously I don't care what anybody says. They wouldn't come with large holding tanks and generators if they were not. I just think at least there should be the option to have a regular Rv style fridge. I just was at the Pittsburgh Rv Show. Was telling my buddy that having this style would be tough dry camping. Guy over heard me and ask why. I also said unless you have a large battery bank and solar power a single 12v battery isn't gonna cut it. He said thanks for the tip and was reevaulating his toyhauler approach.
