RE: Ideas on moving a wall

Thanks so much for the questions and suggestions. I haven't started the demolition yet but would like to. I'll let everyone know how it goes.

Ideas on moving a wall

I have a Cardinal 5th wheel and want to relocate a wall that separates the sink from the toilet. The toilet is in a small room all by itself and the sink is on the other side of the wall in the bedroom. I want to end up with one room that has the sink and toilet in the same room. I will also relocate the medicine cabinet and drawers. Has anyone ever had any experience with something like that? Thanks for any advice.

RE: Replacing Old WIndow Shades Looking For Recommendations

Hey BJ. I am wanting to also replace my shades. They are original and a pain to lift and lower. We never open the big one on the back because it takes two people to move it up and down. Two have broken strings in them and are inop now. I have read all the reply's on shades and still am not sure which ones to get. Back with the string sliders or something different. Some say roller type with curtains work pretty good. I would also like others reviews or experience with shades.

RE: Learning to tow?

I had pulled a boat trailer before we got my 5th wheel. I am sure that helped a lot. We practiced at the trailer lot before pulling out onto the highway. Not much practice there. Like others said, wide turns. We got against a tree and ripped the roof bladder and the gutter. When backing, get someone to help watch your rear end. When you start turning, one side disappears. Get a pair of walkie talkies. You'll be glad you did.

RE: Ram died on the highway

Mine is still at the dealer. After replacing the TIPM I asked for a complimentary clean up. Dealer (Crown Crysler, Chatt. TN) said sounds fair. He called and said its about ready, come get it. After paying the bill, the service manager showed me where they backed another car into it and broke the clear cover on the passenger headlight and scratched the bumper. The light is on back order and don't have a delivery date. Somebody wake me up from this nightmare.

RE: Ram died on the highway

TIPOS = totally integrated piece of s. Do all trucks have the same principal as the Dodge as far as fuses and power distribution? I am thinking of looking for another tow vehicle. I am very satisfied with the power of the Ram, I just don't like to be stranded.

Ram died on the highway

I have a 2006 Ram 2500 5.9 diesel. Last week coming home, all of the sudden all instrument gauges went to zero, the ac fan quit, and the windows would not work. Almost everything electrical failed. We were 70 miles from home with a camper in tow. Long story short, the TIPM was bad and $1300 later all is working. From what I could understand from the dealer mechanic, the TIPM is the brains for everything electrical. It contains relays and fuses, and when it shorts out, nothing but replace it. They said its common for these to go bad usually around 90k miles. Mine has 89k. What a sorry design they came up with. Hope this helps others.
