RE: Headache (sick) Every Morning

Back when I was driving truck, and it idled all night while sleeping, that was always the first clue that I had an exhaust leak even before anyone could hear it. Waking up with headaches! I agree with the posters above, check for CO, possibly a plugged flue on water heater, furnace or refrigerator.

RE: I'm A Believer!

Thanks for the quick response. I only have 30 amp service on my current 5th wheel, but hoping to upgrade in the spring and this looks like a very good investment compared having issues with the voltage and appliances.

RE: I'm A Believer!

A quick question, well maybe not:) On a 50 amp coach with a 50 amp hardwired, EMS or surgeguard, Does it still protect you if your plugged into a 30 amp power source with a dogbone adaptor?

RE: Cyclone 3010

Should be some 09 3210's around. Pretty much the same floor plan with a loft and 3 axles. I think they were available with either 15 or 16 inch wheels, so you may want to check that out for sure.

RE: U-Shaped rear kitchen

Sundance 3000RK also has the refrigerator set an angle so it is accessable with the slide in. Sundance 3000RK This may work for you also.

RE: Teton Really IS back!!!

I'm glad to hear this and I hope this works out for them. From 98-2002, I was pulling a skateboard (trucking with a flatbed) and I delivered a lot of steel to them. Got to know the shop guys pretty well and there was some character's there:R Some of their custom units for hollywierd actors were really over the top!

RE: F-350 tire pressure sensor

NOTE: If the vehicle has been stationary for more than 30 minutes, the sensors will go into a "sleep mode" to conserve battery power. It will be necessary to wake them up so they will transmit the latest tire pressure information to the Smart Junction Box (SJB). I wonder if this is the same as on my Dmax? I rotated tires last weekend after doing an oil change and couldn't get it to learn the new tire position. I'll try to relearn the tire positions after driving this evening.

RE: Front Tri-Pods

What are you hooked to on the upper legs? An opening in the steel floor plate that the legs go through.

RE: Front Tri-Pods

http://i125.photobucket.com/albums/p77/Sujada/IMG00095.jpg height=800 width=600 I've been doing this this summer, with a pair of rathchet straps. Cheapy fix but it works surprisingly well. Just snug the ratchet straps up good, not enough to move the legs. DW and I don't even wake each other up if one gets up. I replaced the pins on the landing gear pads with 5/16 X 2 1/2 inch eyebolts and lock nuts for $3. http://i125.photobucket.com/albums/p77/Sujada/IMG00096.jpg height=800 width=600

RE: Fifth Wheel Website help

Heartland has that on their Sundance XLT line of floorplans. Not sure if other do or not.

RE: how often should you drain hot water tank?

I think it depends on how long until the next time you use it. I replaced the drain plug on mine with a close pipe nipple and ball valve. Just flip the valve, no wrench's, nothing to lose and no getting burned if the water is still hot.

RE: Tragic CG Accident in Minnesota

Vehicles could be equipped with breath monitors and phones could be programmed to quit working if travelling faster than walking speed. SO............. My vehicles should cost another $10,000 and my phone won't work if I'm a passenger???:?

RE: Get rid of them?

Hey everyone. Desert moose here. I don’t want to start a Ford versus Chevy type discussion, but I would like some advice. My wife and I have matching 2005 Kawasaki Prairie 360 4x4’s. Bought them new. I’ve changed all fluids every year, and keep up on the maintenance. We are in our 50’s, so no catching air off jumps or anything like that, just puttering along looking at the scenery and critters, with the occasional hauling a dead deer back to camp. Right now we have around 500 miles and 60 hours on them. I figured they would last as long as we were able to keep riding. Except, this spring when I took them out of the toyhauler, the wife’s quad had the flashing 4X4 indicator light that shows trouble with the KEBC actuator. I was able to clear it last night by removing and reinserting the fuses under the seat. We have company from out of town, so I wasn’t able to go for a ride to see if the light would come back on. Which now leads to my question. Should I get rid of these and get another model/ brand that would probably be more reliable? I’m not happy that with so few hours on the machine, we’re already having problems. Is there a dirt simple 4x4 quad that doesn’t have all the electronic goodies/ actuators where it will be more reliable? It looks like the actuators are a chronic problem. Just like the Ford-Chevy arguments (or rv brands:S) all brands have their own problems. The newer the bike the more electronic's they are going to have on them and stuff to fail. If there was one that was trouble free, jumped higher, and ran faster, it would corner the market shortly. These guys may be able to provide more specific advice for your Prairie. Good luck with your decision

RE: Echo ATV Trailer ??

I haven't heard of any other problems with it from him. He's in Evergreen, CO. I know he's pulled it all over the front range and a trip or 2 to Moab. It's light and easy to pull with his Tahoe compared to some of the other trailers and he often is just hauling one Griz 700 on it.

RE: Echo ATV Trailer ??

I'm not sure it was an echo trailer that a friend of mine had, but looks very similar. It appears to be bolt together construction. His squeaked constantly while in motion or loading/unloading. He was going to put it in the shop and weld everything up solid and repaint. I would be more concerned with the 13 inch tires and 2000 lb. axles.

RE: Utah ATV permit online?

I don't think you can do it online, But you can download the application and fax or mail it in. I mailed mine and had it back in 8 days. http://www.atvutah.com/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1208194421
