Helped a fellow RVer..

I was on Loop 335 day before yesterday and I began to pass a class A PULLING A Jeep..As I came up the side it looked like the front tires on the Jeep were cocked a little to the left..I backed of and came up on the right side and could see the wheels were definitely cocked to the left..So I proceeded to flag them down and they pulled into a parking lot..He had failed to leave the steering wheel unlocked..Wouldn't have been long until he would have had a serious problem..he did thank me but it felt like he would have just as soon I would have left him alone!!!He may have just been having a bad day,but it was about to get a lot worse!!

I don't think it is a real lawsuit..the same thing happened 6 months ago..Just some scammers trying to pull something..

Day/nite shades

We are in the market for day/nite shades..Checked with MCD ,they are pretty costly.Looked at Chalet and they are some less expensive.I need a nudge in the right direction..$600+ seems a little high for four windows, two of them pretty small..Thanks..

RE: Does your toad's license plate light up while being towed?

No license plate light is one of the main reasons the trooper will stop you to look for other things.

RE: Kudos to Brake Buddy

They have great service but in my case a new part was fedexed with one call not three That would have been nice, but in my case it seems that if there is a glitch it will happen when dealing with me.Has always been that way and I am used to it.I never expect favorable results the first time or without having to call and/or recall.I am not whining, that is just the way it is..But I have been very fortunate in my life so no complaints..I just know that if something can go wrong, it most likely will!!

Kudos to Brake Buddy

Kudos to BRAKE BUDDY, mine got to where it would not stay hooked on to the brake pedal. I called BB and talked to Gary O'Neal and he said I need a new shoe and one would be shipped no charge ..A week and a half later no part. I called Mr.O'Neal and he said it was shipped out USPS so we would give a little more time..A week later,no part, So I re-called him and he sent one FEDEX and I received it today and have already installed the new part and a new spring..certainly feels better.I believe it will solve the problem..Kudos to brake buddy for excellent customer service!!!

RE: Sewer outlet facing wrong direction on new RV

That is the reason I do my RV work myself,I have found the techs generally know less about my unit than I do.But I am pretty familiar with mine..My time looking for the problem is fairly cheap!!

RE: Tacoma door lock

I use a dummy key to turn the ignition to unlock..The Toyotas are built where they won't lock if a key is in the ignition..

RE: Swap audio system

I got it installed and it is working fine..a piece of cake..If the trailer wiring had gone as well it would have been good. But we all know that trailer wiring was invented to try the patience of otherwise good people..We are now a little further up the technology curve!!Not Ipod or mp3 far,but further!!
