RE: background programs

Right click on the icon and then left click properties. That will probably show more tnan one executes being done. If that is what is going on, then you have some malware installed. Usually how that happens is one of two ways. 1.you downloaded a program and didnt unclick some additional software. 2 you responded to a popup while in your browser. These are malware And not a virous is that what they are doing is generating connection to a specific site And get paid for doing. There are other ways for this to happen, but those 2 are the most common. I did that and that is not the case. Thanks for the reply.

Heater

I need ideas and suggestions for an auxiliary electric heater for our motor home..The designer decided that it does not need any furnace ducts anywhere past midway ..2 in bedroom,1 in bathroom and 1 in kitchen. We have a small DURA FLAME heater that is not up to the task.

RE: Water heater

The SW6D was 'standard', the SW6DE was optional and wasn't ordered. At least it is 'direct spark' vs pilot :B As for the wheels...bling over functionality I would have preferred functionality..

RE: 5 staples in the noggen! EEEYOWCH!

Head bonks are the main reason that the noodles go on immediately when the slides go out!!!!It is common knowledge around here that I WILL bleed at least a little on EVERY job!!!!

RE: Water heater

Thanks for all the advice..I believe for now I will just connect to the nearby outlet and put a switch in the line..It just looks tacky to have a cord coming out of the cabinet to a plug in.. It is a Suburban heater..

Water heater

Our used motorhome came to us with an electric\gas water heater..Problem is the electric part is a HOT ROD add on,with an extension cord that has to be plugged in around front of the kitchen cabinet..I talked to my rv guy today and he said that he could put in a real gas\electric water heater for $1000.00!!!I believe not, I can get a water heater from PPL for $334.00 incl.shipping ..I believe this is a job I van probably do my self..Hard part will be running a piece of romex from breaker panel and installing switch...Any tips will be appreciated!!And ,I might add,the HOT ROD performs very poorly, takes a long time to heat up!!

RE: Toyota dummy key

I just tried this on my Toyota and it works..The only drawback is that the Brake Buddy needs the acc to be on for power.. Very simple modification, go to an auto parts store and buy a new power port and install it in a convenient location. Wire it directly to the battery with an in-line 10 AMP fuse. As a mater of fact, I believe Brake Buddy makes a kit for just this purpose. That is a planned project!!

RE: Toyota dummy key

I use a non smart key to unlock the steering wheel in my 2015 Toyota when towing..I was told by someone the other day that this will cause big problems with my Toyota computer..I did the same thing with my 2013 Toyota for a year with no adverse effects..Do es anyone kn ow if this is a problem? I will ask my Toyota expert tomorrow..Thanks.. Your Toyota "Xpurt" is misinformed about the use of a plain key. You are aware that most Asian imports since 2009 model year do not require the key to be in the ACC position to unlock the steering. Try this: 1 insert key and turn to ON position 2 turn key to the OFF position 3 DO NOT REMOVE THE KEY The steering will stay unlocked until the key is REMOVED from the ignition switch. I just tried this on my Toyota and it works..The only drawback is that the Brake Buddy needs the acc to be on for power..

RE: Toyota dummy key

RE: BAd driver

The driver will more than likely pay nothing, being in country illegally and all that..The owner on the other hand is another story. A well known local family...I just want ALL my stuff replaced..Already cost $1500 to replace pickup.
