RE: WFCO

Thanks everyone ,except Gordon three. My son has WF-8955AN-11 on his toy hauler..This unit has the 110 and 12v and converter in one ball.Converter appears to be part of it all.Would have to look harder to disconnect the converter from the rest of it..Looks like first remove the cook top and oven and then go from there..Shouldn't be too difficult..All I have seen of it so far is pictures..looks like a mess in there. I think what you want is this PD4600 Replacement for WFCO 8900. Call Best Converters and discuss your existing unit to make sure.

Remove the front panels and the converter is in the lower slot. If by chance you have a deck mount just remove four more screws and pull the entire panel out for access. No need for cooktop removal. I got a little ahead of myself, the ATS switch is also back there and needs attention.I am hoping the WFCO is functioning mostly..Son doesn't use the trailer much..I will have to look the situation over more closely in person and decide what to do..

RE: 13.5 AC Unit

Last week I installed an additional 13.5 in the bedroom of my 2016 Concord..not too difficult..Just has to be plugged in separately from the main 30 amp.

RE: Onan generator Carb cleaning, no need to replace carb.

I cured a poorly running Onan with straight SEAFOAM.Take the fuel line off and put it directly in the SEAFOAM can and let it run...worked for me,,

Coachmen vs Forest River

We are in the market for a new class c..We really like the looks of the Coachmen Concord...and the floor plan of the FR 300DS is good, however the big nose on the FR is giving me second thoughts..Any and all real world info on these two machines will be appreciated..Bad news is I do not have a FR dealer nor a Coachmen dealer nearby..Thanks for input,,

Tire size

Our current class a has 22.5 tires and I am not too fond of them..Costly..do the 20,500 lb chassis have 19.5 tires? Thanks

propane extension to grill..

I have the propane extension set up on my motorhome...I was in Camping World and spotted the 12' hose extender to my WEBER GRILL 2 GO. Well everything connected up nicely..but..the flame is very low on the grill..Is the problem that I have two regulators in the line..What can I do to fix this problem? Thanks.

RE: Back up camera acting up

Mine worked fine until the rough I 35 jarred the cable loose . And now it works as described above..I do not have a driver door so it is very difficult to get under dash..I may have to remove the seat to accomplish this..However on a different note I am talking to the local dealer about trading for a 2016 Winnebago Aspect..The unit I have now is HUGE and as I age more difficult to work on and get into...
