Hi All- We are potentially looking at upgrading our coach in the near future. We live in Tampa so Lazydays is right down the street...we did not buy our coach from them but have had majority of service work done there so I know how they have treated me on that side. We have friends that have had great experiences purchasing a coach but of coarse you read some of the bad stuff as well....
In any case, for those that have purchased from LD, what was your experince like in terms of the negotiation....what's the typical wiggle room on say their web posted suggested retail vs. what you negotiated?
Should note- talking used coach- 2010
Any info and advice is appreicated!
I use this one:
Towing capacity: 7,500 lbs
Tongue weight capacity: 750 lbs
Receiver capacity: 350 lbs
NOTE: Receiver portion for use with accessories; not for use with towing.
I tow with my car dolly and put bikes on the top receiver portion.
It works well, no cracks so far and not too much play in use.
Only thing I don't like is I have to remember to hook up dolly before installing the bike rack.:S
Use the same one using Master Tow Dolly towing Nissan Maxima. No issues and have been doing it for 4 years
And the winner is...cigarette lighter fuse (Maxi 20A) in the under the hood fuse panel. It had blown but was still allowing a little current to pass because the test light came on but was much more faint than the other side....nonetheless, it was the culprit. Check and double check both sides of the fuse for sure!!
Thanks all for the recommendations. This is why I love this forum.
We were at Fort Wilderness over the weekend and as we were leaving yesterday, went to retract the jacks and nothing, no retrackting. They are power gear/dewald hydros and the slides worked like they should so pump was working.
Did a little investigating while waiting on Coach Net to locate a mobile tech and it looks as though the dash 12 v is the issue. The dashboard dimmer switch, map light, 12 volt jack and the control panel for the jacks all are interconnected and doing crazy things... The 12v jack has 12 v but immediately drops in half or more when the leveler board power is turned on. If I hit the emergency retract, the map light comes on??? If I try to retract normally, the circut board buzzes...in any case, really crazy electrical gremlin out of no where.
The tech used an old converter to put 13v to the circuit board and all worked...his recco was to run dedicated + - from battery to power jacks but that does not address all the other crazy electrical issuess.
Any guesses on what to look for, where to begin. As you can tell by the rambling post, I am surprised, stumped and perplexed especially since the system was fully operational/no electrical issues when we parked for the weekend.
Thanks for any advice!!
