RE: Need a good RV shop in San Antonio, TX area
Thanks, Texan & hawkman. I'll try Iron Horse first because the reviews at their website confirm what you said & conveyed how experienced they are. I'll post about their service.
Need a good RV shop in San Antonio, TX area
We have a 2003 Titanium fifth wheel. We need a good, reliable repair shop to work on the living room slide, the black tank valve (won't close), and the toilet (leak). We also want the brakes checked. Does anyone have experience with a shop near San Antonio, that has done good work, and impressed you? We do have the Good Sam Extended Service.
RE: Husky Hitch Opinion
Husky is a good hitch. Used a 16k for 10 years without a single problem. You may want to consider a hitch capable of handling more weight if there's a chance you will get a heavier fifth wheel in the future.
RE: front hitch and weight question
U can get all kinds of extensions & drops for your receiver. I think if u take your truck & scooter to the hitch place, they will find a way to make it work. JMHO, FWIW.
New short bed truck, which hitch?
Long time member of this forum, but its been a long time since last post. Just bought a 2013 Chevy 2500 Hd diesel, crew cab, short bed. We will be shopping for another fiver. Never had a short bed truck. Considering a Reese 20k slider hitch #30084. Searched forum, but didn't have time to sort thru all the posts. Any advice or suggestions? Picking up truck Tuesday, so need info soon.
