RE: SW Az - Roosevelt Lake Apache Trail by Quad

Take Power Road north to Bush Hiway to 87. Turn right and a couple miles you will see Four Peaks Road to the right. Lots of two tracks and lots of Quads and 4x4s.
You can take that road over the mountain and down to Roosevelt. Try and avoid weekends, lots of traffic

Russel is great! Don't blame him because the other players are idiots. Remember, it's all in the editing.

RE: Whats the correct way to hich yout trailers weight dist bars

The way I do it is, once the hitch is on the ball, I flip the latch then raise the tongue(and back of the truck) up 3-4" or until my whimpy electric jack stalls out. Then I hook up the bars and then lower the jack. This places the preload on the bars.

RE: What's your favorite feature and biggest gripe

One of my gripes is the fuel station filler neck cuts thru the interior wall to the floor. They put a piece of metal over it and that gets in the way of loading quads. Surely they could put it under a cabinet out of the way. The first time I towed in the rain I had water all over the floor in my hauler. Under the metal cover was a 4x8 hole. I made some patch panels out of sheet metal and caulked it up good. Unbelievable.

RE: Front entry door won't open?

On my last Jayco and now my Shockwave, when in the summer sun, the expansion literally squeezes the door shut. I'v had to flaten out the striker plate and file the heads off the screws/cut notches in the door to get it to work properly. As soon as that side is in the shade all is fine again.

RE: Ford V10 towing ability

Best thing I did to my 99 V10 was headers, cat-back, and intake. Really woke up performance and added a slight mpg. Take a look at the stock "Y" pipe in the exhaust and you'll see what I mean. Banks, Borla, Hedman make kits.

RE: Loading a Toy Hauler for Proper Weight Distribution.

I thought about buying a 2 1/2" shank but the one I have is new and the reducer is cheaper. It does take some work to line up the reducer, hold it in place and try and slide the heavy hitch head in and put in the pin. I'm thinking of welding a lip on the front to hold it.

That video cracked me up. Didn't Ford say the same things when the 6.OH came out and the 6.4? Where were all these geniuses then?
