RE: Entry steps

unhook the linkage under the steps, check for movement. You may have to tie them in, then use a stool until fixed.

RE: pulling a car trailer with class a

I pulled a car trailer with my 35ft. It can take a little time you have to park in a lot then unload the car and move the MH to a camp site. Then do it again to leave. If you can get a site to leave it hooked up is much better. Would not stop me from using a trailer. Often you can stay hooked up in a pull through.

RE: border crossings and inspections

When returning to the states I was asked about Alcohol tobaco and firearms.
then the question, any knives? I quickly felt like it was a set up because I have several knives in the MH for slicing meat and cooking. I told them yes, they said no more, I was on my way. Felt like it was a trick question.

RE: Curbside Kitchen. Will I be sorry.

I find the street side slide a problem because it blocks your view when sitting outside.
I don't understand. Don't you sit out on the curb side???
Ps. I see you joined 11 days after I did back in 2003. Wow!
It depends on the camp site layout. I sit where the shade is. !0 years on this forum, long time

RE: Back feeding generator into house.

Why did you wait to get the proper hook-up, till the power hook up became a hurry up job. Buy a gen for the house and have it properly installed.

RE: Kwikee Electric Steps Issue

I have the same problem. You were lucky I bent mine badly on a curb 1/4 mile from the house. Always look to see if they are in now before moving. Cost $200 dollars to have them taken off and straigtened but not prefect. Will have to replace them one day.

RE: IcemakerWinterization

This is the way my dealler does it. Buy a cheap extenison cord, cut off the female end and put insulated aligator clips. While pressureized with anti freeze, pug in the cord to 110 volt and touch the clips on the solinod valve. Stop when anti freeze goes into the ice maker. In the spring throw the frist few batches of ice cubes away. yes the solinod is 110 volt.

RE: 50 CC motor scooters

I own several Japense and Chinese scooters. I do my own work and small changes such as Variator weighs, exhaust, CDI and my Honda 50cc Ruckus is near 50mph, and I weeigh 200 lbs. Check out "Total Ruckus" web site. Parts for Chinese scooter are very avaiable. The 50cc can be easily increased to 70-80 cc and are still marked 50cc on engine. PM me if I can help.

RE: 50 CC motor scooters

I have 2 Chinese scooters and 2 Honda's. One is a PCX 125 that is about 65mph and a 50cc Ruckus. In Ct the 50cc and below does not require a motor cycle licence. The Honda are longer lasting, better quality alot more expensive. I saw a Honda Ruckus 50cc with 30,000 miles on it. I ride the Ruckus the most unless I want to go fast, then I use the Honda PCX.
