RE: Avast 8 Free build 1488

Guess I'm becoming paranoid.....wondered if it was laughing at me for thinking I was secure.

Avast 8 Free build 1488

Having problems with this update. On home page, says protected in green tile, but if I move cursor across smiley face it winks. Is this an 'Easter egg' or is it trouble?

2013 Focus lights and break-away switch

Setting up 2013 Focus auto/pb start for towed. Looking for ideas for lights (battery must be disconnected) and break-away switch placement. Have read about jump-start being used for power. Would like to know what size and brand used. Have elected to stay with Roadmaster brackets as I prefer the wider spread. Thanks for any information you have.

RE: 2013 Ford Focus

my understanding is the trans is electronically controlled. failure to disconnect the battery at the battery may lead to trans going in gear. I have also read the ST model is not towable.. check owners manual.

RE: Destination: Myrtle Beach - Suggestions?

Here at MBTP looking for 70 degrees this weekend. No concrete, very few golf carts, pet friendly and about 99 percent pull thru with good wifi. No wrong answer to your question. You can eat, shop till you drop or put your feet up and listen to the ocean...

RE: Tire Pressure trap

I have installed a sticker above the stock one showing the 'new pressure' for tires made after the 06 date. I have talked about this before and it's a good thing to bring up once in a while. Goodyear 670 245/70R 19.5 tires seem to be the only ones changed. Use the new 'sticker' pressure as a min. Now you can go for the '4 corner' weights if you want.
low tire pressures are not funny !!

RE: US 1 in Maine

Only problem with that route is weight gain from eating too many clams and lobster and empty wallet from stopping in Freeport. Good road, good food, good camp, good people........enjoy..!

RE: RV diesel inspections in New Jersey

No more DMV it's MVC (Motor Vehicle Commission). One place on website says no inspection for over 10k gvwr. A search of MVC for motorhomes says you have 14 days after purchase to go to inspection. (says nothing about gas or diesel) If you get a straight answer, please post. I know my gasser has to deal with the inspection every 2 years. OT.. Motorhomes are registered by VIN in this State. Make sure Make, Model and Coach(house) YEAR go on title as well, as chassis and house may not be the same year.

RE: roadmaster, all terrain tow bar, using padlock to secure?

Four mini locks keyed alike, two more with longer shanks. Only need two keys for use. Just as easy to use locks as it is to use the pins.....and the locks don't come loose or grow legs.
