nascar...richmond special weekend
A special weekend for JR. We get to see an Earnhardt in both races. Eat your hearts out JR haters.
Looking for a driver for the upcoming Nationwide Series event at Richmond International Raceway, JR Motorsports decided to keep it in the family.
The organization co-owned by Dale Earnhardt Jr. will put Jeffrey Earnhardt in its No. 5 car for the April 26 race at RIR, the team revealed Thursday in a video posted on its website. The event will mark the first time Earnhardt Jr.'s nephew has driven for the family race team.

I went south on 77 the day before yesterday, and it looked like a rv caravan from Victoria to Waco. Must have been a good year for the valley seeing all those rvs headed north.

Dozer, I just dont believe in the hype that NASCAR is putting on Danica and she for taking the gazzillions of dollars along with it. She is at best a capable driver in the Friday night lights div and that is debateable.
Daytona, they were warned against hitting the poor girl and you saw the results. Phoe was the first test of her in Sprint Cup. Pretty bad. A capable driver KNOWS when the tire is worn out , KNOWS when to tell the crew chief , KNOWS when to slow down or save tires.
Im a little sick of all the goody goody two shoes pattin her on the back like she is one of the boys.
