RE: CG choices in Gettysberg & Lancaster, PA

We just returned today from staying first for 4 days at Artillery Ridge in Gettysburg and then for 3 more days at Country Acres in Lancaster. Both were great. We are going back to the area for 4 more days starting on the 10th and couldn't get into either one of those Campgrounds. They are all booked so we're staying at the KOA in Elizabethtown.

RE: Anyone into classic cars???

We have season tickets and try to get to at least 4 to 5 shows per year. Last year we camped at Deer Run Campgrounds over in Gardner, PA. It was close and really nice. We were considering Western Village this year, but we've never stayed there. Our youngest two daughters will be with us so we're looking for a family-friendly place.

Extend-A-Shower Expanding "Shower Rod"

Has anyone tried the Extend-A-Shower Expanding "Shower Rod"? I saw it on Camping World's website. Our shower stall is a little small for my hubby and I thought this might help. I'm worried about how it attaches to the wall. Usually I sit back and just read the forum so I apologize if I shouldn't be asking this. http://www.campingworld.com/shopping/item/extend-a-shower-expanding-shower-rod/44143:?:?

Any suggestions for campgrounds near the Carlisle Car Shows?

Hubby and I (and daughters) have season tickets for Carlisle. Last year we stayed in Gardner, PA. This year we were considering Western Village in Carlisle. Does anyone have any suggestions? I hate to be too far away because it takes forever to get in and out of there because of the traffic. I like to find something with a pool for my daughters.

RE: shower conversion

I was wondering if you'd had any success yet. My daughters and I love our Jayco, but hubby won't really fit in the shower. I'd love to somehow get some more room in there. We really don't have the space to move walls like the other post.
