RE: Fantastic Fan don't work

Ho beemerphile1 --
Found the plunger switch. It was up but I pushed it up and down a few times and that was the problem. Works great! Thanks to the replies also and to you beemerphile1

RE: Fantastic Fan don't work

Where is the plunger switch? Inside or outside? Have tried everything that is provided inside. Thanks

Fantastic Fan don't work

Have not used our Fantastic fan in about 2 months. Worked fine. Now we can't get it to work. It is not old, installed in 2010. Fuse is o.k. The cover does work up and down both electrically and manually. Ideas welcomed. Thanks

RE: Lights dim and blink at night?

Hey enblethen
Have been monitoring our hot water usage prior to retiring. They have yet to dim if we do not use it. However our hot showers prior to retiring still do not dim the lights. So far it seems to be the cause. Thanks

RE: Lights dim and blink at night?

Hey JR45 --
I still wonder if it is the converter again. However, during the day we put on the hot water in a couple of places and it started dimming. Very promising. Thanks, will continue monitoring with that idea. Yes, BTW we do use electric for the hot water. A second thanks again and to all.

RE: Lights dim and blink at night?

Hi Fellow Helpers --
Sanded the bottom of all bulbs. Could not check the wiring so far. Will check the fuses and test the batteries tomorrow. Have an idea it may be the batteries as was suggested. Thanks much, will let you all know.

Lights dim and blink at night?

I don't think this is necessarily a Fiver (fifth wheel) problem but -- when using the lights on at night up in the bedroom (nothing else on) they dim repeatedly as perhaps a short would. Is it possible the breaker could be the cause? I replaced the converter about 2-3 years ago. We are fulltimers and travel with our "C".

RE: CELL PHONE INTERNET ACCESS

With wife's Apple ipad running with Verizon it also is a hotspot for our laptops. Works like the cellphone anywhere it seems.

Reviews: Winegard Rayzar antenna

Just noticed the Winegard Rayzar clear antenna. It sticks to a window. Going for about $44.00. Any reviews would be appreciated.

RE: Remote won't shut off AC

My apologies for not answering before. This was originally my posting for help. Most of you stuck with me and tried to help. It was very important to us. Called the repairman and quite by accident I believe, he found a loose connector to the control box. He replaced it and it worked immediately. I really appreciate all your postings. As to the question can we still get parts. Just received the August-Sept. issue of Good Sam Hwys. mag. On page 50 the Dr. guy mentions "anyrvparts.com". He states they buy a lot of parts no longer made. Thanks again.

RE: Remote won't shut off AC

To all Rvers who helped on my Air Conditioner problem -- problem solved. Was a connector on the end of a wire going to the Control Box. Connector was replaced and it works very well again using the remote. Much thanks to all. What a group of great RVers.

RE: Remote won't shut off AC

Cool Canuck: The entire unit works great with the breaker. Apparently no signal is sent to turn it on or off. I just held for 13 seconds, stays on. I'm assuming it is the control board as you mentioned. Thanks for hanging in there on my problem.

RE: Remote won't shut off AC

To Dougrainer: Sorry that I did not include the Model #, etc. I assume it may be inside the unit. If I find it tomorrow I shall send it to you. It is now 98 here and will wait until tomorrow a.m. when it only 80 to find the control board and remove it. I did not find it in my instructions. Thanks
