RE: cubic foot of wood? how big is this? damn restrictions

It's enough for one night, so it adds 8 dollars to your daily cost! Very expensive. One full cord is 128 cubic feet, so that's 1000 per cord. You might as well bring 2x6 boards cut in 16 inch length and pass them as leveling blocks. At least you'll know they are dry.
One cubic ft of wood is enough for a night? You must be kidding! Thats enough for maybe a 1/2 hr. fire. I put that much wood on to get the fire started & no I don't have huge bon-fires either.

RE: HELP...BLACK STREAKS

I use Tilex bath cleaner. Doesn't harm vinyl & doesn't harm the finish on the camper, yet removes the black streaks. Tries many other ones that other recommend ie...Awesome, Martin's RV cleaner etc.... & they all seemed to leave a dull sheen that I just couldn't remove.
Can I ask how long you have used this product?
Couple of years. Have you had issues with it?

RE: Black Streaks

I use tilex bath cleaner. Doesn't harm the finish anymore that it would in your bathroom. Tried Awesome & wasn't happy with the residue & streaks & couldn't remove later left by the Awesome cleaner.

RE: hitch blocked by another trailer

Had that happen to me when I went to get mine out of winter storage. Someone during the week before, parked a concession trailer too close & in front of mine. I simply moved it out of the way. It was then no longer an issue.

RE: Outdoor Mats

I like to keep setup and pack up as simple as possible. I don't want a big mat to fold and store. I especially don't want to deal with it when wet and muddy.
We have two door mats of approximately 18" x 30". one stays inside the door and one stays outside the door. When packing to leave the inside door mat is tossed inside the door with the inside mat. Takes all of 4 seconds.

RE: Seat covers & floor mats

Why would you want seat covers? So the next owners can enjoy them? Just clean them occassionally. My truck is 6 yrs old with almost 80k miles & the seats look new.

RE: Tow mirrors

My favorite (after trying a bunch) add on mirror is the Grand Aero.
I just bought a set of these today & towed about 20 miles with them. They work GREAT. This is my third set of mirrors that I've bought & these are by far the best. Sorry I didn't buy these the first time.

RE: Land Yacht & Airstream

Very obvious as to the opinion of the interviewer regarding Airstreams or possibly any type of travel trailer, based on his snide remarks if you caught them. He made several remarks where you could hear him thumbing his nose at them.

RE: 2013 Dodge Rear End Option???

Wait a few months and get the diesel 1500...
x2
Or get the gas 1 ton with a 5.7L Hemi and never worry about pin weight again.
No one has any idea as to the quality of the forthcoming diesel. I've heard it's NOT a cummins, so it may turn out to be a POS. Would you buy one in the up coming months or wait to see if it proves itself a worthy motor. Not sure if the OP wishes to wait & see if it's any good.

Last weekend I spotted a Smartcar towing a utility trailer down the road. I was driving in the other direction so was not able to get a picture of it.

Elec tongue jack. Atwood, Barker or Bulldog?

They are all priced in the same ballpark so which of these would be the recommended one? All would need to be the 3500 lb or above rated.

Barker Deluxe Hi-Power 3500 Super Jack vs non High Power

Does anyone know if the Barker High Power electric tongue jack with ball screw compares to the one without the ball screw. I see what the ads say but does anyone have any first hand experience of how they compare?
