RE: rear living trailer

It probably depends on the parks you intend to visit. Check them out on line to see what they have to offer. We have a KZ spree 323RLS--33 feet in length and have not had any problems with state parks in VA, SC, or GA. We have noticed that many of the parks that we have visited have been or are bening upgraded with larger sites for the larger RVs. Good luck.

RE: holiday travel park va beach

The jet noise can be very loud at times. The amont and duration varies. We have been their when the noise has been minimal and other times when it seemed to last forever. It is usually quiet during the night. It will be most significant on your first visit--after that you will become somewhat more use to it. We always camped with a dog and see many others with dogs. Some with show dogs. They hava a fenced in dog play area. I would definately recommend the super sites as opposed to the regular sites. The difference is day and night.

RE: holiday travel park va beach

We try to go to VA Beach at least a couple of times a year. We always stay at Holiday travel park (HTP). Yes the jet noise can be bad but the super sites cannot be beat--pricey but worth it. Parking near the beach is a real problem The HTP has a parking lot one block off the beach that you can park in for free. During the high season they also have a shuttle that runs from the park. First Landing is right on the North beach but sites for larger sites are limited but are more rustic if that is what you prefer. If you are going during other than the off season be sure to get a reservation as they fill up fast especially if there are any special events downtown. Good luck and have fun.

RE: Need help with wet floor

If it were me I would take to a rv service that does pressure leak testing. Make sure to check any seams in your roofing and around all roof penetrations. It is very important that you find the source of the leak before making any repairs. It has probably been leaking for some time--I don't think you would find the flooring cracking after only one hard rain. As other have said make sure to completely dry it out before doing any repairs. Good luck.

RE: Should I buy the siding protection?

I don't know anything about the product but as you pointed out good washing and waxing takes care of these issues. I personally woud not spend that kind of money for thiis type 0f product.

RE: Shower faucet question

I just take the wand and hold it near the drain and adjust the temp, push the slider to turn water off, put the wand back in the holder and push the slider to on. You can probably put in a regular tub fixture but it may be more trpouble than it is worth.

RE: Table legs

I made a new set of supports form some scrap lumber (wide at both the top and floor). Not the most convenient and will not work if you want to make the table into a bed. Works for us and is very solid.

RE: Should I get a ladder on my new TT?

I have a telescoping ladder that works fine for me. I did build a small wood box and covered it with a piece of carpet that I slip over the top of the ladder before placing it against the side of the TT. This spreads out the force of the ladder against the side of the TT and also keep the ladder from making marks on the TT. The ladder takes up very little space in the back of the tow rig and adjusts easily for differences in ground level.

RE: Water pressure at shower is low, rest of RV is OK

You probably also have a "on-off" valve on the shower head. You might want to check to make sure it is all the way on.

RE: Recommended gas grills?

We have the O-Grill. It is compact, comes with a carry bag and works great. Smaller than the Webber and in my view does an equal or better job. You can cook with the lid down for most meals but the vertical spae is limited if you wanted to cook something like a whole chicken.

RE: Suggestions or Opinions about RV Covers

I have had two different ready made covers for two different TT and do believe they are beneficial. If I have a need for another I will seriously consider one made speifically for my TT. The ready made ones are ok but since they cover a range of different lenghts they tend to not fit as securely as a custom made one. They do cost more.

RE: Spree 323RL couch replacement

I have a Spree 323RLS. I just measured the distance from the inside edge of the slide to the back of the dinette as 70". I havn't thought about replacing the airbed couch as we like the under couch storage. However on my previous TT I was thinking about it and found some nice short ones at Costco. You might check Costco on line. I don't know if they have any at 70" or less but it might be worth a try. Also be sure that what ever you get that it will fit between the door. Good luck.

RE: is it to hot to pour concrete when it's 99 degrees?

Temp should not be a problem. However I would suggest that you keep the surface moist (mist with water from time to time) and covered with a plastic sheet for a couple of days to keep the water in the mix from evaporating too fast.

I have used it on my TT and all my vehicles for a number of years. Easy on and easy off. Not sure if it or any of the other products will last a full year. I do mine twice a year.

RE: Down to Three, Help Me Decide!!

The 318 has a pantry, closet near the bunks, and a more remote (private) bath/toilet. A plus over the 321 but only you can decide which best fits your needs and wants. In my view the $400 diffference is insignificant to the total price of the unit. The mileage difference should not make a diffenence for the initial purchase but could be significant if you plan to have any warranty or other service work performed by the seller. I personally would not want to drice 7.5 hours for any service. Good luck on whatever you decide.
