We have the 2012 Sanibel 3500 and love it. We sold our MH and purchased the Sanibel. It is a fantastic fifth wheel. You will not be disappointed. We have had ours since Feb 2012 and have not had any problems with it. Our good friends purchased the Sanibel also and have only had a couple of minor problems, a check valve in the shower had to be changed, the electric jack motor for the rear of the fifth wheel had to be replaced and the recliner had to be replaced because the arm was loose, it appeared to be a defect from the furniture manufacturer. We had a missing lens cover and they put the wrong air matress for the sofa in the drawer under sofa. The problems were all very minor. We camped every weekend from April to November 2012 and could not be more satisified. The amount of storage, the layout, the accessability of everything. Prime Time did their homework before they built this fifth wheel. I hope this info helps and good luck in your search.
I have never seen those before but I see that Lowe's carries them. I will definately check them out tomorrow since I have a list of things I have to pick up. They will be on the list. Thanks for sharing!
Congratulations on your new truck and your new Sanibel. We also have the 2012 Sanibel 3500 that we kept at the river from April to November. We love ours. It was just like a second home all season. We bought it home for the winter and did the winterization ourselves, it was so simple. I agree with you on the labels, we bought a label maker and changed the labels in the Universal Docking Center. I feel if that is the worst, we will be Ok. I did hit the ceiling fan one time before I stopped the slide out but I just put the slide back out enough to move the blade, and it was fine. I hope the dealer fixed the slide out to your satisfaction.
