I bought Timbrens 11 years ago for my truck and no problems, best $142 I spent. When your not towing they are not in contact with the axle. Guess I need to go out and check on them, nah, no need, no air, no sweat.
Same here. Install and forget. No adjustments needed. They are there when you need them. I have the dr2500ca kit installed without the optional spacers.
RE: Duramax oil drain plug drama
37ftlbs on my Cummins oil pan drain plug. I use 25ftlbs on lighter duty vehicles. I will second the importance of resetting a torque wrench to the bottom of the scale after each use. I tend to break stuff so a torque wrench is my friend.
