RE: Portable Air Conditioner

I tried one. Did not work well for me. Mine only vented exhaust to the outside and no air intake from the outside which means the air intake came from inside the camper. The intake coming from the inside means negative pressure on the inside so it is pulling hot outside air into the camper any way it can. Does that make sense? I got a second a/c. Portable is now collecting dust. Some people love them though.

RE: CG near Raleigh NC??

Jordan Lake has 3 nice state campgrounds. About 30 minutes away but they lock the gates at night.

RE: My Video Of LED Light Strips For Awning

I put these exact lights on my TT not long ago. They are thin and I do roll them up in the awning with no problems. I am eventually going to hardwire them, but for now I just plug them in. I really like them. Not sure how long they will last exposed to the weather. Lights are waterproof but there is a connection.

RE: Chocking strategies with a single xchock

I use X-Chocks and really like them. I like them because they are easy but I am not sure how much trailer shake they stop. My wife says they help. You must keep in mind that if your tire goes flat (which is very unlikely) your X-Chock will be pretty much useless to stop the trailer from rolling. I am guilty of relying on them to hold the trailer in place. But if I am on a hill I will also chock the wheels with a stick of firewood.

RE: 2nd A/C. Where to buy?

Thanks Big Love. I saw that and they were the cheapest that I found. I think that they have a good reputation. Just not sure.

2nd A/C. Where to buy?

I am planning to add a second A/C to my TT. I already have a Dometic Brisk Air so I am looking for another. I have priced them online and at my dealer and it seems online is the best value. Does anyone have any suggestions as to where to buy. I know that the cheapest is not always the best place to buy. Are there any places that I should avoid? Thanks for any suggestions.
