RE: How long does a water filter last?

We use a pur filter on the sink faucet only. After every trip I remove it and shake out the water and put it in the freezer until next time. I also without thinking about it ,drain the hot water heater after each trip.

RE: Dinghy Protection while towing?

i towed 3 saturns over the years, and never saw much of a problem. now we tow a ford focus and it is getting a lot of little dings in the front clip. the focus just has a different front end. i thought about the protect a tow, but i have a 8" drop hitch and there would be a large gap where it hooks on the bottom of the m.h.

RE: Sweltering

I just traded in my 2000 Holiday Rambler for a new(ER) rig. This 2008 Four Winds Windsport has a double front slides and a huge front window and retractable windshield shade vs. curtains. That thin "shade" does not stop the cab -- and therefore the whole MH -- from heating up beyond the A/C's ability to cool it (read: sweltering). So, my question is: what would be the best way to block the sun and keep the rig cool? I am considering one of those snap-on windshield screens. Also, is it possible to get a BIG reflector shield that can be held up with suction cups? Any feedback would be appreciated.
