RE: Help in Picking New Toyhauler

Have you considered the class A toy haulers (Thor Outlaw and Newmar Canyon star)? We did look at these...well the Newmar one anyway. We are a little wary of Thor products. We liked it, but having to walk through our bedroom to get to the garage was a little bit of a hassle. We really liked the combo of the Class A and toyhauler option, just wish it had a better layout! Rick, that is an awesome pic!

RE: Help in Picking New Toyhauler

Thanks everyone! We really like the Excel and you can get it with a loft bed :-) That was a must for us, too. We are still looking around and even contemplating a Space Craft. Dream big, right? Although the Toter home might be a bit too big for our pocketbook! At least I feel we are in the right direction.

RE: How long do they last?

Haha! Seems it has taken on a life of its own. We would certainly get another truck. We are going back and forth between 350 and 450's. However, after the discussion about space, we stumbled upon Spacecraft. What a neat company! Bet they are expensive! Anyone buy one? Thanks for all the responses, they have been very helpful.

RE: How long do they last?

Thanks for all of the info so far. Our kids aren't very destructive, mostly they are outside and when they are inside it is on the computer. I guess I wasn't as much concerned with the interior as much as the slides, stabilizers, shocks, etc. The big stuff :-) I guess it will just take maintenance. Thanks Resmas for the advice about space. I will certainly consider that, and maybe look around more.

How long do they last?

Hello all! We are a fulltiming family of 5 looking at the higher quality TH's (Excel, specifically) and were wondering how many years we could expect to get out of it. At the moment we don't do a ton of moving around, my husband does a lot of contract work for several months at a time. So I would say moderate usage. Thanks!

RE: Help in Picking New Toyhauler

I know this is an old post, but we are looking into the 2013 Excel Wild Cargo. It has been recommended by several people here...has anyone been fulltiming in it for a year or so? Would they still recommend it? Being a family of 5, we are particularly interested in high quality that will stand up to our group for at least a few years. Generally speaking, how long would you say you could full time in a quality 5th - I'd say moderate usage? Thanks!
