RE: Is my battery being properly charged when TT is plugged in?

Most converters only sypply a small amount of current to charge the battery. That is usually about 3 amphers. That is fone of the battery is fully charged. If it is discharged more than 10 per cent use an external charger to top- it off, then the converter should keep it up.

Go to a dependable auto supply shop and have the battery load tested. It is probably just surface charge. If you have a restive load you can do it yourself.

RE: Pre-Existing Conditions

Have a mechanic you trust check out the unit. Ask for an extimate on an necessary repairs. If they are excessive pass on the unit. In ge neral extended earrentees are not worth the price.

RE: 1973 holiday rambler wiring

I have no knowledge of 8 pin wireing. You need to use a meter to figure out the layout. Mark whe wires and look up the 7 pin configuration and attach the wires. I would guess that the stop and turn circuits are split. good luck.

RE: Is a fifth-wheel usable on the road?

Fivers can be stayed in anytime they are parked. In some states they can even be rode in while traveling. If they are set up correctly they will be level while going down the road. It just a matter of having the hitch installed correctly. We have been using one for 22 years.

RE: Freezing

Insulate them and leave the lower cabinet doors open. 2 inch fiber glass insulation should do the job.

RE: To buy and Cougar or not

The Cougers I have seen are bit heavy for that truck. They also seem to be short on inside storage space.
