RE: Class A or C for full time living

We've been full timing in our C for about a year. We are parked in a campground.
2 chocolate labs, one cat and 2 of us working full time. It's working fine and will have to continue to do so until our house sells.
Anything is doable- you just need to be flexible. But if you have a choice good for you. We didn't.

RE: Living in a Class C trailer

We've been living in our 2004 Minnie Winnie for about a year but we're parked in a campground and not really traveling at this point. We really like the C much better than the trailer. As someone else said- no getting out and getting into the trailer. After many cool/cold trips where we would stop for the night and stay in the trailer ONCE it warmed up we realized how much nicer it is to travel in the C.

RE: rv direct.com in ny

As long as you NEVER have to have Albany RV do any kind of service to the unit then I would guess you can put their price quote into consideration. But they have ZERO service and the person that claims to be the "service" manager knows ZERO about service.
Just my two cents...

RE: Forest river sunseeker

We looked at a 2004 Sunseeker and test drove it for a while. It was a nice rig but we decided on our Winnebago. The Winnebago had a much nicer ride. The Sunseeker we drove had lots of rattles and squeaks. It also didn't have a central a/c unit either. It had four roof vents going from front to back and a directional a/c that seemed inadequate.
If you are looking for new then obviously the info on a used unit is moot.
Good luck with your shopping- I think it's a fun part of the RV experience!

RE: Shiny RV with Red Max Pro (pics)

Our rig looked GORGEOUS after the Red Max application. It wintered well and looked great in the spring.
Then...hubby took it to live in it while we transfer to North Carolina. It was filthy so he took it to a truck wash. Say goodbye to the Red Max. I have no idea what kind of cleaner they used on it but when I saw it in June I wanted to cry. :S
Now it has to be done again, as soon as I can get to NC and prep it and apply it again. Hubby is not interested in doing it himself. :M
It may not have been the car wash. My rig lost its brilliance after one year. Floor wax will dull naturally over time. I simply washed my unit and applied another coat. Instantly brought back the depth and shine. I guess I will have to do this anually. All well. Its worth it.
Thank you! That gives me hope That I won't have to do the whole project again!
