RE: Anyone repaired a cracked AC shroud?

Eternabond or Gorilla tape will do the job. Just remember that the reason it's cracked is that the sun's UV rays has made it very brittle and it will have to be replaced in the future. I think it's time to replace it for safety sake, don't want it breaking apart going down the road.Don't ask how I know about trying a repair job. :SAfter time they get as brittle as glass.

RE: Water filler overflow tubes

The large green one is the overflow/vent and as said the 2 smaller ones are drains with a shut off on both and then you have another small one (in the cabinet) that should have a flexible line on it for adding antifreeze for winter, it also has a shut off valve and a plug in the end of the flex line. RE: Violent shaking front end

I had a GMC van do the same thing when I hit a bridge expansion joint it was all I could do to hold onto the steering wheel. I had it checked out and nothing found wrong and it was explained that it was called lateral road shock. The shop added a steering stabilizer and all was good afterwards. Jim

RE: Motorhome headlights.

In the past I have used 2 different kits they were just OK. This past week I used a 3-M kit it's a 4 step process and all is well they look brand new. I even did my Ford PU that had the headlights clear coated and it cleaned them like new it's a GREAT kit... Jim

RE: F53 Oil Change

I found that if you put your levelers down a little in the front that increases the distance between your axle and your engine and you can put your drain pan on top of the axle. Works well for me, no mess at all.. Jim

RE: installed air bags

What chassis do you have and what mfg did you use. I bought a set Air Lift for the rear of of my Mountain Aire F-53 chassis with the remote controlled air compressor. Can't wait to install them to see the change they make. Jim

RE: Inflatable Mattress

Possibly you are interested in the Air Dream mattress. It is partially mattress/springs and air mattress in one. I have one and it gives a good nights sleep for all who have tried it. Inflates with a motor and deflates when we are ready to fold up the bed.
There are several comments on this forum about one. That is why I got mine. Cost abouth $250.00. Hope this helps. X-2 I got one 2yrs ago and love it, you can't compare it to the original. I'm a big guy 250lbs and 6'4" and it works for me...Jim

X3-for Craigslist I bought and sold an RV on Craigslist. It works to be honest and to have the vehicle state inspected to show there are no safety problems. Jim

RE: Non Commercial License

Your correct, no DOT card required for non commercial A or B license. I have an non commercial A license which I can drive all fire equipment & all farm equipment including tractor trailer as long as it not being used as a commercial vehicle. You also are correct about taking the written, driving & pre trip. I hope this is of some help. JIM

RE: Power port fuses. Where are they?

I had the same problem with my Mountain Aire and found them on top of the dash under a access panel above the steering wheel. The nut that holds the lighter body in had come loose shorting it out causing the fuse to blow.. Good Luck, Jim

RE: Will Ready Brake work with Tow dolly?

Give Tow Master a call and see what they suggest, they probably have complete backing plates and harness for it. They only need the mod. # & serial #. It's worth a try...Jim
