RE: Route 23, Catskill, NY

145 > I88 = 5 more mins. Thank you, I assume it has less curves and hills. Thank you again.

Route 23, Catskill, NY

I am planning a route from Cairo, NY, to Oneonta, NY. I am finding that route 23 is the most direct. I am wondering about the amount of twisting and turning this road has. I know that 23A through Tannersville,NY is not what I want to haul our travel trailer on. Please advise. Thank you.

Great advice. I have a month and a half to plan the route and activities. Thank you for all the help.

RE: Spring trip to Cherry Hill Park, College Park, MD

Oh my, 2 different suggestions. Maybe this will help narrow down the directions. We will be arriving on a Sunday and leaving on a Friday. What would be the best times in each direction to make this journey. Thank you.

RE: Spring trip to Cherry Hill Park, College Park, MD

Thank you for the responses. Thank you for the clarification, I thought the metro was the bus and not the subway. I really do not want to travel in the traffic, so all suggestions are great. I will look into the Western Village as well.

Spring trip to Cherry Hill Park, College Park, MD

We are headed south for the our first trip of the year. We are headed to explore our nation's capital. Our plan is to stay at Cherry Hill Park and use the metro that stops in the park. What is the easiest route for us to travel from Syracuse, NY to College Park, MD. Coach-Net has routed us down 81 south to route 83 towards Baltimore and then on to College Park. The other optin would be to continue south on 81 to route 70, then 270 over to College Park. We plan on staying at the Twin Grove Park KOA in Pine Grove, PA. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Tall Pines Campground, Bainbridge, NY

I am not one who speaks poorly of anyone, thing, or business without due cause. I could not leave this incident alone. Below is the link to the campground we have issue with: Tall Pines Campground, Bainbridge, NY I will not go into all of the details here, if you would like more information, please PM me. Reservations had been made at the above mentioned campground, check in completed. We made our way down to the campsite. Here begins the problem. The sites are very small and close together. Neighboring camper has tow vehicle part way on our site; another neighboring camper has a vehicle parked across the street in the way of our maneuvering rig into site. Owner was called to help out the situation as he has allowed this parking to take place. Owner was arrogant and unprofessional in his dealings with us. We were told to leave. We stopped at the office to get our money back. The other owner was very abrupt and not wanting to refund our money as the site had been rented. In our opinion the conflict was not resolved with grace or professional manor, the sites are extremely small and the cost is extremely high, the campground is overly crowded, especially for a Sunday afternoon. They have charges which we believe are unheard of: there is a $25 fine if you fail to hang our site tag on your mirror; if your guests do not register, there is another $25 fine. Overall, we will not be camping at the above mentioned campground. We were not treated with respect. The customer is always right, what happened to us is no way to treat a customer.
