RE: off topic fuel mileage

Up to 45 MPH you are over coming weight.
Over 60 MPH you are over coming wind.

RE: F53 22,000 chassis factory anti-sway bar

2000 Fleetwood Flair/F-53/V-10/30'
I did both my sway bars and made my own rear panhard bar (trac bar) we just finished a 4200 mile trip and it made a huge difference-the semi's going by didn't move us and the big thing is I can drive longer without getting worn out-we drive at 58 -62 mph which is comfortable and did two days of 500 plus miles without getting tired-I think it is a good improvement-Rich
I'd like to know more about making your own track bar

OK.....I tried everything except running a new coax. I'll try that tomorrow, its too cold today.
I might go thru all the antenna types too.

RE: Wineguard Road Trip SD

For DirecTV you will be receiving the 101 satellite. In the receiver setup routine you will want to go into the menu, setup and then repeat satellite setup. Change the antenna type to 18" round and multiswitch and then go to the signal strength screen and select signal meter. Now, turn the antenna on and let it do a search. Once locked onto the satellite you will be able to complete the setup.
On th DIP switch inside the dome---- 1-7 are UP and 8 is DOWN. Doug
Sounds like a good plan.
It should be looking right over your house.....LOL
Rain tomorrow, so not to sure I can get out there with the reciever
Thanks

RE: Wineguard Road Trip SD

I don't think it finds the signal, doesn't lock on.
I did try an older Direct TV reciever.....didn't work either.
The satillite dome is kinda old, not sure of its age.
Tried different antenna settings too.
Single LNB
The dish I tried in the yard is kinda old too, & it worked

Wineguard Road Trip SD

I bought this coach with the Wineguard, but I can't get it to work.
I put in a new Direct TV reciever
I called Wineguard, they said it should work.
I put another dish in the yard & that works
The roof dish spins & looks up & down, but doesn't find the satillite.
What else can I do????

RE: Freightliner Cat 3126 fuel system

Do you have a place to install a priming pump?
You're going to be doing this again, so it might be a good idea to have one.
I got one from Cat, not very expensive

RE: PAC brake compressor?

Ahrmless...I did try that, but I'll try again.
Plus I'm gonna check the pressure switch.
The new PAC brake compressors draw much more amps (18 amps), & I've only got a 14 gauge wire. The current fuze is 10 amps

RE: PAC brake compressor?

I put a shut off valve going to the front of the coach, so nothing up there is getting any air.
The PAC brake is not activated
The compressor continues to run, with the ignition switch on, but the engine is not running. Can't hear the compressor with the engine running.
