RE: Forest River Qaultiy?
We love our Flagstaff. Very few issue over 3 years and 20,000 km. We ind the workmanship to be better that most in the same price range.
RE: Drumheller campground needed please
Not many campgrounds in drumheller that are like our provincial park setup. Dinosaur Trail and all the ones in town are the side by side close together type. The hoodoos campground is in a big field.
Try this site you may get some better ideas.

RE: Central/Southern BC Campsite Recommedations
Radium Hot Springs. Redstreak is the federal park campground and quite nice. Lots to do within 1 hour drive. You could also try Kikomun Creek near Fernie.
RE: Moosejaw, SK - Place to Over Night
Buffalo Pound Provincial Park is very nice and about 20 minutes north. The Prairie Oasis is probably the best for a overnight stop or city basecamp.
RE: Weather?
You will need both short tank tops and flip flops as well as jeans and a sweatshirt.
Bring a few of each and plan to do a bit of laundry on the road.
RE: Anyone ever gon to Churchill to visit the Polar Bears
I've stayed at the Aurora and it was a nice place. When I lived there the hotel was apartments therefore the rooms are quite spacious. Of course I haven't stayed they in 13 years.
RE: RV model question
We have the Flagstaff 29' with the super slide (sister of the Rockwoods mentioned) We tow with a Nissan Titan and driven through the Canadian Rockies without a problem. Our trailer fully loaded is 7600lbs.
RE: Anyone ever gon to Churchill to visit the Polar Bears
I used to live in Churchill. Seeing the bears is a great experience. I've always flown in so I don't have any experience with the drive. You can also hop on the train in Winnipeg.
If you are planning to go, make reservations now for hotel and tundra buggy cause things fill up fast.
Enjoy, it is a once in a lifetime experience.
RE: Overnighting In Calgary AB
I say skip Calgary all together and take hwy 9 north to Airdrie (15 min North). There is a Walmart there that allows for overnight parking as well as an RV campground just before Balzac. You could also stay on the west side of the city at Calaway Park or even Cochrane. I don't like driving the RV through Calgary way too much construction. Go North around the city = nice driving and lots of choice for overnight stops.
RE: Drive from Calgary to Chilliwack BC
We've done Crowsnet and #1 with our Nissan Titan and 29' trailer. AI B is right crowsnest is do-able but gas millage sucks due to the wind. We do just like BFL 13 suggests and keep it in the lower gear for the steep slopes down. Works great!
RE: Ideas for our summer trip
Sorry I guess I didn't make myself clear. We would like to travel in the US but we don't expect to see the entire US. Just looking for some interesting locations. We don't care if we visit 1 State or 5.
I like your "must see" list, those were some of the locations we were considering. We've been to Glacier NP which is beautiful.
Ideas for our summer trip
We are planning to take 3 weeks in July and travel south from Calgary, Alberta through the States. It will be my husband and I and our 2 boys (7 and 9). We have a 29' travel trailer and truck.
I'd love to hear some suggestions from those with experience. Where should we go. We are looking for some great camping, warmth (don't want to spend our holiday in the rain), adventure, and family fun. We'd like to see some interesting places and do some relaxing. We don't mind driving some distance but want to spend several days in each location.
Bring on the ideas. Much appreciated!
RE: A good CG in Alberta?
Kinbrook Island PP near Brooks is great. There is a big lake with a beach. Playgrounds and services. Close enough to go to Brooks when you need a change.
RE: help me get rid of my pack N play
What about using 2 bedrails. Set one up facing up on the bottom bunk and one facing down on the top bunk. That should just about enclose the entire bottom bunk...
