RE: Have you used this water filter?

I connect a hose between the filter and the RV's fill port/city water so the filter rests on the ground. This prevents it from torquing/breaking the plastic connectors. I use the same filter. I put the pressure regulator on it, the only hook it to the water spigot, the out to the TT. We usually only camp on the weekends from March thru November. I make sure to dry it out as best I can before putting it away and 1 filter will usually last that amount of time with us. I did use two last year, the CG we were at had an issue with the water system and plugged up the filter with sand.

RE: WD HItch and Sway Control Setup

My Equalizer hitch/sway control is really loud. If you start seeing metal shavings, that probably isn't a good thing.

RE: Dometic power awning issue

Call your insurance company back and ask for a supplemental. Something that goes bad that quick doesn't sound right. I can see the motor or the switch, but not both. Then again, maybe it is.....

RE: Dometic power awning issue

No one have a similar experience? I guess to prod some responses I will tell you I am towing a 9K pound trailer with a 1/2 ton and I drain my gray water at my campsite. BWHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Trying to bring them out huh? lol Did they have to take the fabric off? I assume so, it sounds like they might have a loose connection in a motor. I do agree with the other poster about jumping past the switch, but why not just take it back to the dealer that did the work and say "Fix it"? They should have some type of warranty on the service they just performed. I hope you get your issue resolved.
