RE: RV Direct Fine Print
Sometimes it is nice to do business with a local dealer! My order contract was very simple, no such language dealing with changes. Only had specifications, amount down for order ($1000, trade in allowance and amount due on delivery. On delivery, after PDI, I wrote a personal check and left with the trailer. They had no time to verify check was good. It was :).
RE: another pin weight question
The terms "3/4 ton" and "1 ton" are obviously out dated as far as load capacities. The typical "3/4 ton" (250 or 2500 models) are usually rated for over 1 ton load capacity and the "1 ton" (350 or 3500 models) are usually rated for over 1.5 tons. Is this not true?
RE: Forrest River Silverback
Actually the Silverback is a lower priced Cedar Creek. Same great build quality, but not all the bells and whistles of the full Cedar Creek lineup.
RE: Forrest River Silverback
Make a deal you are willing to live with and enjoy your purchase. Giving up on a deal because someone else says you are paying too much makes no sense to me.
I love my Silverback and like the new ones even better!
RE: Silverback 29 RE reply from factory
Your fix sounds good. I'll check mine in the spring to see if i need to reinforce with plywood.
I have been very pleased with my 29re otherwise.
Happy New Year.
RE: Silverback 29 RE reply from factory
I have a 2011 29re with this issue. I would be interested in hearing how you plan to fix yours. I inserted pieces of block styrofoam and then sprayed in Great Stuff foam sealant. So for seems to have worked.
RE: Looking thru the peep hole
Ok, serious answer. Mine has the solid door with peep hole. Last time out I looked out of it just to see if I could see anything. Works ok even with the screen. Not great but works. Dining room slide has much better view.
