RE: Do I need special cleaning products?

I use vinegar and water, mild dish soap or baking soda and water as I want the least amount of chemicals in my tanks or when I dump. I keep it all wiped down, so nothing gets built up or dirty.

RE: 2006 ford escape

We have a 2006 Escape, but it is AWD, and it must be towed on a trailer. The FWD can be towed on a tow dolly.

Weekend at Kohler-Andrae State Park, WI

What a new experience. We couldn't find our campsite until we realized it was at the side of the park road with a walk-up picnic area. This park has tons to do, from a fishing pond to miles and miles of beach and trails. The boardwalk into the marsh is educational and fun. One thing that was disturbing was the site we had people kept cutting through right into our camping site. The best part was that leveling the motorhome was easy as we were on a paved roadside. If ever in the area, stop over at KA and enjoy for a day or two.

RE: Confused on I Pass and Sun Pass etc--- toll roads ????

Here is a link to the I-Pass from Illinois. This should answer all your questions. http://www.illinoistollway.com/homepage

RE: Confused on I Pass and Sun Pass etc--- toll roads ????

We have the I-Pass and have the Velcro strips in our other cars so we can transfer the box when needed. You need to logon to their website and register your vehicles that you are using it in. You do not need anything else for your tow. The I-system senses your vehicle and anything behind it and charges appropriately. You will not get charged unless you have your trailer/tow along. It works in many other states--just read on the signs going up to the toll or go online to the I-Pass website.

RE: Pro's and Con's of Driver side door?

Would not have a coach w/o a drivers door. When fueling, it is great to just climb out and not have to go around. Also as others have said, can open up and look back to see. Ours also has the HWH leveler control inside on the floor by the driver's door. Now, if we were lucky enough to have a diesel pusher, it would be a different story!

Anyone camp here???

We want to meet our daughter and family to camp with our son's family and our oldest daughter. We thought "Broken Arrow Campground" in Winamac, IN was a good halfway point. The reviews are all over the board from poor to great. Has anyone camped here? If so, how was it? If not is there something close that would be better??? Thanks for your help.

RE: Wisconson Dells

Campfire Time is onto a good thing. WI State Parks are great places to stay. We have stayed at Mirror Lake a long time ago and loved it. Devils Lake is beautiful and Rocky Arbor may be great, but when we were there it was raining and we were still tent camping then, not a great experience. Realize non of these have water or sewer hook-ups and if you can't secure an electric site, you cannot run your generator either. You will also have to pay an entrance fee per day, but campsite prices are very cheap, I believe around $20 a day.

RE: Running frig while driving

We start ours a day ahead. I freeze small jugs of water and put one in frig and one in freezer to help it cool quickly. In about 4-5 hours it's cold, I remove jugs and I load with cold food or frozen stuff. It is better to put cold food in as when you put room temp food in it takes a while for it to cool down again. We travel with ours on and have never had a problem. Sure makes it nice not to have to pack coolers! I
